Here's a pic of me in my....HA! Just kidding

No, but really, the g string on my guitar always gives me problems. Every time I pick up my guitar and start playing, the g string always needs tuning. Its always a little flat or sharp, much more often than the other strings, and while I'm playing it wont stay in tune for too long.

Any idea what the problem could be? I would've said it was just the way I wound this one around the peg but...it happens to all my g strings.

no, somtimes they just dont hold the tension...but then again you said it was sharp too, so i dont know what would cause it to tighen other than frequent (sp) temperature changes.

so the only thing you can do is get a new peg put in (if the peg is the problem)?

yeah, i think the correct term is a "machine head", which i had to replace on my ibanez because one broke. Not a big deal.
