Least expensive hotel/motel you've booked for Vegas

hey, I'm not cheap, I jsut don't plan on spending much time other than sleeping in the room :)

I totally hear you, but remember that a cab ride from one end of the strip to the other, or a monorail pass might be the difference money wise as staying closer the venue.

The place so far that seems to be the cheapest is the Tropicana. Check around on prices, but that seemed to be the place to stay a few weeks ago.

you can book hotels two or three blocks off the strip (well within walking distance) for much less than a hotel room on the actual strip goes for

i remember paying $40 a night for the best western at the airport for 2 double beds a few years ago. definitely compare prices, though.
