View Full Version : Who's Going Where in '07?

Stealing this from another board I frequent. It's a cool idea in my opinion, and could aid in getting even more ants gatherings. It's actually stickied there, so maybe here (or we all just work to keep it on the first page). Add your user name after the shows you'll be attending. A word to the wise, don't quote... just copy the whole list with yourself added.
Also, do not add in destinations that are not officially announced. I know we all get excited around this time, just sit on it 'til the dates are out.

If you had been reading the SPAC thread, then Brendan (thestand) has a family friend who is a premium member of the SPAC club, and they always get SPAC dates sent out to them early. The dates showed the 15th and 16th as the DMB dates.

This is news to me, and I'm a SPAC member... official by way of tDMB announcement. And no educated guessing, like the Gorge dates as that's when the hotel is booked... :BANG

Yes but there are only 4 weekends available for dmb at Spac, weekend that is, and 15-16 would get my bet.

And seriously: I've been waiting for this for 14 years, so, as You probably know, I am so fucking excited!!!!!!!!!!

No. :haha I would love to do Gorge with a lot of my friends on here but............. my money tree was accidently cut down. Not to mention one of my best friends is getting married, I have a few vacays to go on (one to AZ) and I'm kinda in the hole. :cool

I want to try and hit some shows at venues I've never been to. West Palm, Alpine (been there only once but it was for Tibetan Freedom concert), SPAC, Chula Vista, Deer Creek, Hershey are all possibilities at this point. I pretty much want to hit about 5 shows in a week since that's how long my vacation is. I'll hit the Texas shows whenever those are too. ;)

Yea that is the only thing that sucks about SPAC is the beer tent situation, beautiful venue, great atmosphere but no beer outside the tent. Always get there quite a few hours early to get a drink on before the show.

02-11-2007, 11:18 AM
yeah ealon...that was me...im sure we will meet up, especially alpin tailgaiting or something....
i guess that if we go to spac then that we will just have to get there early enough so we can tailgate first....when we went their the first night in 05 i didnt realize that they opened the lots early, plus my wife and i were just getting in from the poconos from our honeymoon..
i just can wait for summer dates...after reading when the alpine dates were possible, i was like oh shit...we start school that week before so i might already have to use a personal day or two..oh well

OK, i have this problem, by posting it here I know already what most here will say to take which option, but to me its not so simple. Ok DMB is a big thing for me, and going to the concert on 27 may in Brussels could not make me more happy. But here it goes, my biggest passion and what I've been following very closelly for years now being a big huge giant fan of Formula One. It just happens to be that my friend ask me to join him at the Monaco Grand Prix F1 race which is the weekend of the 27 may. It is very very hard to get tickets and a dream to any F1 fans to go there cause it the best of the best. So now, I am turning my head around and just thinking DMB or Monaco F1. Damn me, the best two things I have this year must be on the same day in two different countries.:BANG :lorraine
I know, i know, all you guys will say; go to DMB, forget F1, but its the hardest choise for me now.

I think you'll love SPAC and Randall's was a great time.

I'd never give up Hartford, too close to ever say no; and listening to past years we've really gotten some tremendous sets.

I'm the opposite, I tend to add new venues every year but stil hit the same ones that I've enjoyed (which has basically been all). So, not to throw my own thread off, but pre-official-word-based-on-recent-tours-stops may be:

SPAC, Hartford, Camden, Randall's, C-Ville (hopefully it wasn't an inaugural stop only)...

Hopeful stops and perhaps surprise summer additions:
VA Beach
Gorge (some day)
MSG (ala spring '02)
