Got a promotion today at work. :lol Not much of a promotion, but it's a start. I got a $1 raise in my wage to start. Then I was told I would get another $1.50 added to my wage this summer if I would accept the promotion to Shift Supervisor. :lol (5 years paid off)


But it also helps possibly set me up with CVS for an internship in their Marketing group at Coporate next summer.

Well, we have a guy named Fredrick Meijer here in Grand Rapids that started the whole "One Stop Shopping" craze way before Wal-Mart. His house was one street over from ours. And that's what I've always loved about a lot of the big wigs here from Grand Rapids. They are humble. I see that quality in you, Greg. :) And you are a go-getter and a people person, so best of luck to you with your endeavors! :)

What's new... Well, I'm going to a minor league baseball game on Saturday and I can't wait! It's the West Michigan Whitecaps. There the minor league team for the Detroit Tigers. So excited to have something to do outside for a change! :)

I know the feeling. It's awesome to just go outside. This Friday we are playing Corn Hole all day outside. Our RA from last year is coming to his friends house which is across the street. He is throwing a party for us again. He's at Bowling Green for his Graduate's. He's a great guy!


Hope the Whitecaps kick some ass! I enjoy farm league teams. See a lot of young talent, sometimes the new young guns. Also aged guys coming back from injury, etc. Hope you have a blast! :hug

We had thunderstorms all night and it's been off and on cloudy, then sunny today, which is good for the flowers.
