Whats about the average cost for a lesson, and how often are they?

once a week for 30 minutes. probably like 10-20 bucks an hour

That all depends. I find many beginners benefit from the extra time of constant feedback on their playing that an hour offers. It may not be a wise investment if you are strapped for money, but it does have some benefits.

I find that a half and hour is barely enough time to teach much of anything....let alone get some practice and feedback on the lesson.

i paid 15 bucks a half hour for about 4 years every week. unless it was soccer season. then it was like once a month cuz i would alwasy end up breaking a finger or something while playing soccer, or i would have a game.
