However, when it comes to guitars, you usually get what you pay for. A guitar that you buy on ebay for $.99 I would expect to be nearly unplayable.

Most definitely. I noticed a few also indicated in the text that they were in-house copies (mostly on the Les Paul styles guitars). Usually those are terriblely made, noticeably so when you look on the back of the body to find it's made of something like 6 randomly sized pieces!

Likewise for the Ibanez guitars too, they are definitely fakes. One of which has a Radius/JS body, with a neck which has an RG series branding at the top but a Joe Satriani 21st fret inlay, rounded out with a very cheap floyd rose (Instead of an Edge III)... And a Steve Vai JEM for $100? The tuners probably cost that much on the real thing! :lol

Guitars like these are very hit and miss, so if you're still tempted to buy one (which I hope you aren't!) be prepared to accept you might be throwing away good money for an absolute piece of shit.
