To start off, I'd like to say hello to everyone for I am new here. My question is this: How do I put the downloaded .flac file on ced to play in cd player? I know I do not want to interfere with the format, so can I do this or not. Thank you.

You need to convert it to WAV before you can burn it. It does not affect the quality at all, as FLAC is a lossless audio codec.

I have converted my FLAC files to WAV and now my cd burner will not burn them. I am getting a runtime error on 1 burner program, and on Windows Media it says it can't tell how big the file is, so it won't burn it. The programs won't let me just burn the FLAC files either. I have d/l'ed and burnt SHN files before without any problems, this is my first time with FLAC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I figured it out. I will post it here in case anyone else encounters the same problem. I ended up having to right click the .wav file, play with windows media player, and once it started playing I could add it to my burn list. Windows had to know how long it was before it would allow it on the burn list. Not sure why, never had that problem before, but it's done, and that's all that matters. :)

Heather,

There is a program called burrrn that you can download from here: http://www.burrrn.net/

you can just add the flac file onto the play list directly, just click burn and there it goes :-). dont bother to convert the files you might just loose quality if you dont do it right. Do it straight from flac.

I tried to d/l the burrrn beta version on the downloads page twice and both times I got an error message saying that the file was corrupted. :shrug Thanks for your help though! :)

i would have to say i don't have a problem downloading a show its just that it won't playback on my yahoo jukebox or windows media, it plays in yahoo for like a minute than cuts out, it must be something to do with the audio codecs and in windows im not sure any advice would be helpful
