Conversion Question! (What program works well with mac?)

I just got a mac, and cant seem to find a good program to convert the music files can someone help me out.

Here is Mac OSX info:

The following app can transcode from just about any format to any other format, and it does it speedily and easily, let's you do big batches of files at once, etc. Has a nice interface, very customizable.

Great for converting SHN/FLAC > mp3.

For simple playing of FLAC files (plus many other audio/video formats) on Mac, I recommend the open source, stable, and lightweight VLC:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Edit - others may recommend xact for mac. It works, but is rather clunky and slow in my experience. The above mentioned programs are light years ahead of xact in terms of functionality, speed, and presentation.
