Drag and Drop Old Concerts

(I've SCOURED the boards for this question and did not see it, forgive if unoriginal. It's possible it's been answered indirectly and I'm too computer-illiterate to pick it up.)

The Question: Can I drag and drop shows DOWNLOADED FROM ANTSMARCHING.ORG into Azureus to share with everyone? I know that b/c they're from antsmarching this DOES NOT make me a new "seeder."

The Situation: I have an old desktop used for storage only. There are about 11 shows on the desktop. They were downloaded some time ago FROM ANTSMARCHING.ORG only. I recently moved, and the desktop no longer has an internet connection.

I want to transfer the concerts from the desktop to my laptop, which is always on (with Azureus always on and seeing, always with green smilies). I want to be able to share the concerts again with the community.

So from a flash drive, I dragged and dropped them into my "Azureus downloads" on my laptop. I expected them to show up in the Azureus seeding window and start seeding. They didn't. What more do I need to do?

Im not positive on this, but i would think you would need to double click the .torrent file. It would then check the status of your download then put it in your seeding window.

forgive my ignorance...

does that mean pull up all the old concerts on antsmarching.org and click the .torrent files for the concerts on the website, even though I've already completely downloaded them?

how do I tell Azureus that there are full concerts in the "Azureus Downloads" file in "My Computer" so that it can start seeding them? They are concerts I put in there from another computer, instead of the ones I've downloaded from the laptop (which are currently seeding...). I haven't altered those files in any way, and they are from antsmarching.org

First off, thanks for wanting to share with the community. What you do depends on if there is still a seed for the source you downloaded on antsmarching.org. If there is:

- Re-download the .torrent file from ants that corresponds with what you downloaded. Open that torrent file up in Azureus, and when it asks where you want to download the show to, point it to the show folder you have on your computer. You'll instantly become a seed.

If the seed is no longer on ants, then you need to follow the directions in our Torrent FAQ (Click Downloads at the top of the forums, then click Torrent FAQ on the left) to create a new .torrent file to seed on ants.
