Does anyone have tips on singing higher with your chest voice?
I never thought Dave had a very large vocal range when I first listened to his earlier albums (live). Once I listened to Central Park and more importantly, some of the latest live shows (within a couple of years), it seems like he has no limit.
Examples include:
-what you are (toward the end and outro)
-bartender (off and on throughout the entire song)
-stay (the ending improv)
-all along the watchtower (the end)
...to name a few...
Everytime I start to "muscle it up" my voice collaspes and I switch to an annoying falsetto.
Is this something that takes years to develop?
Am I approaching it wrong?
Any suggestions will work wonderfully! Thanks fellow ants,
Joseph
