This is what we got.

If you like soloing and a unique sound that we're starting to dial in, check it out. There aren't many vocals, where the vocals are present, its just more to try to find a melodic vocal pattern, but the lead parts are dead on. He's getting a cool voice with that guitar.

Semi-Improv Jam we wrote last night:

Something we've had lying around we decided to get on tape:

The second one is also available on our website, if you don't want to download files - it streams automatically when you go to http://www.theprojectboston.com ("Shane's Jam")

I dig it. Shane sounds like a wonderful mix of Santana and Warren Haynes. I really dig it man.

What kind of setting does he use on those jams(pedals, amps, etc.)
if you don't mind

thanks guys.

1. royce, you're right... shane is awesome. i'm so lucky to have a talent like that to jam, write, and be creative with

2. he runs a custom guit with matching seymour duncans out to one of those line 6 POD boards. i'm not sure how he has all the settings calibrated. he's going to save some cash and buy legit pedals to make a board, but we're on a college budget currently. that goes into a '76 sunn head - that goes into a cab he and his dad built themselves (father is an electrician) - his tone is awesome.

i recorded that with just a condenser in the room - 5 feet from us. i sat near his cab and played acoustic live while he played electric. it was a simple, simple recording

i can't wait to sit down and write some lyrics over this stuff

no worries, we're focusing on the allston/brighton/newton area right now to get a local following.

head to guitar center by BU (on comm ave. RIGHT near where the mass pike crosses it).

green line b train out to BU you'll find it.

I went to the avenue, wouldn't let me in with a UK driving license
Went to Wonder bar - same deal
went to white horse - same again

Sunset tap let me get wasted on Oktoberfest! I did not believe good beer existed in America until I went there.

Yeah someone else said that! I only got served in Boston because it was an Irish barmaid and she knew what a UK license looks like.

the name of the website alone makes it worthless.
