Jacques Villenueve and NASCAR

So, for the NASCAR fans, what do you think about Jacques Villenueve debuting in the COT at Talledega today?

Hes starting 6th, but he just said that he would show respect for the Chase drivers and drop to the back at the start of the race.

Hes also only 1 of 3 drivers to win the Indy 500, the F1 Championship, and the CART championship.

Some of the NASCAR drivers are very against him starting today, and one even said that he guarantees that Jacques will end up on his roof today.

Yeah, he qualified 6th.

Hes doing it to prepare himself for Daytona.

I dont think its the full reason, but I do think that many of the racers feel threatened by having him racing against them.

i do t like nascar but i was talking about this yesterday with my friends.. i dontlike this. It would be like allowing a AAA team to play the yankees down the stretch. Sure they willprobablynot win but they could have enough of an effect to fuck everything up.. Not a fan.. Also keep french people out

Crazy they allowed him to start at Dega. The race is pretty good so far.

Just one more rookie to screw up at a super speedway. He should have just started at Daytona. There is more at stake than the chase drivers. There are many teams trying to stay in the top 35 owner points.
