What are your superstitions?

Whether you watch baseball, football, basketball, hockey or croquet, you know you got em. What do you do to will your team to victory even though you know it doesn't make a damn bit of difference. Do you wear the same hat during the playoffs? The same jersey to every football game? Tell us what you do on a game by game basis whether your playing or watching or just tell us stories about how you didnt change your underwear the whole series because the Red Sox won game 4. Let's hear em. What are your supersitions?

I'm not watching the game tomorrow because the Yanks won and I didn't watch.

In baseball games I refuse to touch the foul line. After a strike out I have to take my glove off and walk around the mound. And if I win a game I try and do everything exactly the same as the start before.

i've worn the same t-shirt on cowboys game days this year. it hasn't been washed yet, either.

During the Steelers 15-1 run I didn't wash by Big Ben jersey all year. I got it like 3 or 4 weeks into the season. I come home from college to go to the divisional playof game, and my mom throws the jersey in the wash before I wake up the next morning.

If the Steelers are winning, my jersey doesn't get washed. I also won't go back to the losing jersey until I've been through the rest. I've got 5, so hopefully they won't all see the light of day this year.

i'm growing a playoff beard for the sox right now. i wash my sox hat at the end of every season, except no washing after a WS win (so 04, and hopefully i won't be washing it this year).

i also won't wear any hat that's not a sox hat, and i only have 1.

I'm such a girl for posting this, but my freshman year at Notre Dame, I found some eyeshadow that was the perfect shade of "Notre Dame green". I wore that shade to every single football game I went to (which was all the home games, plus a few aways here and there). I graduated in May, so now I watch the games from my couch, and I hadn't bothered wearing the eye shadow all year. We all know how bad this season has gone, but this weekend I was getting ready to go watch the game with a friend, and I saw the eyeshadow and decided to wear it for old times sake... and look what happened! :) I'm never breaking that tradition again....

The HOME/NAVY Tom Brady jersey is worn, and it MUST be washed every thursday before the game. Said jersey can only be worn out to the bar, to a friend's house or when people come to my place to watch. It can only be worn when there is a large group of people around.
If I am at home by myself, and can't get together with friends to watch the game, the game jersey MUST be substituted for some form of Red Sox shirt, sweatshirt, whatever. The TOM BRADY jersey CANNOT be worn at home when I am by myself.

For Patriots, Post-season:
Depending on home-field advantage and/or who we are playing, the NAVY home, the SILVER away or WHITE away Tom Brady Jersey must be worn at all times, whether alone or with people.
When at FOXBORO: WHITE Jersey if NE is the predicted underdog, NAVY Jersey if NE is the predicted winner; when AWAY in the playoffs: SILVER Jersey regardless of the spread.
No Jeans can be worn during the playoffs; black pants must be substituted so that the "Carlton Banks Dance" can be performed during every NE Touch down.
