After tonights HORRIBLE loss at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys, should Dick Juron (coach of the Buffalo Bills) be relieved of his head coaching duties?

When something like this happens, it's usually not coaching. The Bills defenders just stopped making plays.

29 thousand posts and thats all you got to make fun of sports fans with??? come on you can do better.

and no he shouldnt be fired, its only 5 games in and the bills have been close in 2 of the losses. so give them a chance to grow up this season some more and see what happens. plus a new QB... nah.

You can't blame the Bills defense for losing this game. THe offense scored a whopping 3 points. The defense played very well against a tough team and kept it close. If the offense had scored a touchtown or two that would have helped.

edit: So no, Juron should not be fired.

The Bills have a quarterback now with two starts of experience, and did I forget to mention he's from Stanford???

Not Jaurron's fault. Yet.

tony romos rex grossmanlike play was overshadowing the great job the dallas defense did. the bill offense did absolutely nothing.

The Bills arent good enough to justify losing this game as a catastrophic fuck up.

How is Dick Juron still coaching in this league to begin with? Forget about this game, this guy should never have even gotten the Buffalo job to begin with.

Dick Jauron's Coaching Record
CHI, 1999: 6-10 *5th in NFC Central
CHI, 2000: 5-11 *5th in NFC Central
CHI, 2001: 13-3 *Division Title, 1st Round Playoff Loss
CHI, 2002: 4-12 *3rd in NFC North
CHI, 2003: 7-9 *3rd in NFC North
DET, 2005: 1-4 *3rd in NFC North
BUF, 2006: 7-9 *3rd in AFC East
BUF, 2007: 1-4 *Currently tied for 2nd in the AFC East
Career Total: 44-62

So he has 2 last place finishes, 4 second to last place finishes, and a division title to his credit. I'll cut him some slack because he won a division title with John Schoop as his offensive coordinator. Sadly he's tied for 2nd place right now with a 1-4 record in the worst division of all time perhaps.

This is what I'm saying. It's not only this year but his record as a whole. He's not a good coach. The record proves that.

this is a ridiculous question...of course not. try losing 9 startes in the first 4 weeks.

so he should be fired for never having any talen to work with? That's almost as silly as firing Torre.

In case bills fans haven't noticed....this team hasn't exactly been a league power these last few years. Honestly, I think they should give the man an extension after last night. The Bills are missing a lot of starters esspecially on defense and the defense played a great game.

You simply cannot expect to win a game if you only generate 3 points on offense...ever. Part of that blame falls on the coach no doubt, but I think it would be too much to talk about firing him.

Why?

It's not he he should be winning or anything, the Bills suck.

:thumbsup Players still have to make plays, but coaching is a major part of the loss.

Wasn't a huge fan of the guy in his Chicago days. But Buffalo has some young talent so maybe they should just try to keep this entire squad including coaches together.

he shouldnt of been hired in the first place. Buffalo needs someone with intensity and energy. After Mularkey I thought they would get someone like that but instead they end up with Jauron.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but the Buffalo job is probably the 2nd hardest to fill.

Everyone who's saying no is acting like this is his first season coaching the Bills. If you're not from this area, you're not hearing his press conferences, his statements before games, and his overall demeaner towards the team. He needs to go, period...

True...I'm an outsider looking in. This is only his second year though. With the injuries he's had this year I don't think they could hold it against him. Like I said before...the fact that the game was as close as it was is a credit to him. The only thing really stupid he did was call that pass (which was probably the OC anyway) when they were in the red zone that wound up getting picked off. Even after that the bills were ahead and got the ball back so they had chances to close the game out.

When you go on the official network of your team and use a phrase like "I hope we can steal a win today" BEFORE a football game (the Denver game no less, the first game of the season, when everyone's healthy), you have no faith in your football team. If you're the head coach and can't even ACT like you have faith in your team, you need to go...

He's anti-masculine. Everything he says is laughable, just knowing he's a no-life nerd sitting in a dark room with MSNBC on the tv and his hands on a keyboard.
