when he talks about anything besides the NBA, particularly racial issues, well "quite frankly" he sounds like an idiot
SoRight24

Yeah, I think he's better than alot of those idiots they have on there.

Pistons up 2-1 in 04...He is still saying they have no chance to win the chip....Fuck that guy, he's an idiot. I'd rather hear a thousand babies burning than hear his voice.

You could get KG to do it.
SoRight24
10-11-2007, 04:40 PM
So now the real truth comes out, you dislike him because he didn't pick your Pistons to win?
Yeah, thats well enough reason to lynch the guy. :rolleyes

he's a douche regardless of who he picks.

Yes, I was telling everyone who would listen while we were deployed that they'd win pretty easily...I figured Tay would shut down Kobe a little more, but I thought they were old and we were the better team.

I completely agree. He is SO annoying. If he's worthy of being on the radio, you might as well bring back the Fabulous Sports Babe.

cruscott, being brash and over the top for effect loses its effectiveness quite quickly and people tune you out.

Um, you didn't, but thanks for the advice...
It's like when people call into a radio show to say how much you hate the guy and how you're never going to listen again...You have to listen to get pissed off enough to call, sit on hold for 30 minutes, just to get your 35 seconds of air time.

And the reason I choose "lynch" as the method of death I wish for SAS, it's because he loves to turn everything into a race debate.

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT....I absolutely hate this guy. He is so annoying and I he always seems to bring race into any conversation no matter what the topic.

Yet SAS isn't even close to Jason Whitlock when it comes to playing the race card.

No, but Whitlock is just some columnist in KC. SAS is on ESPN all the freaking time during the NBA season and has his own syndicated talk show on ESPN radio.

Whitlock used to be on ESPN pretty regularly before he left to work for Fox Sports.
I wish SAS wasn't as loud as he was, but the guy does know his shit when it comes to basketball. His show sucked because it would often be one big rant, but there were some golden interviews with NBA players mixed in there. When AI was on his show it was one of the best sports interviews I've ever seen.

Lynch? Kill would have even been a better choice of words than lynch.
Come on man.
I almost witnessed Whitlock and Keyshawn get into a fight. It was after Dungy's last game as head coach of the Bucs (Bucs/Eagles playoff game) in the Bucs' locker room.

I don't like him either.. Does he even have a show anymore?... I saw him on
1st and 10 this morning and he's terrible... He just talks about basketball and keeps going on and on..
He's up there with Jim Rome IMO.

I thought this originally said "I wish I could lynch Stephen Lynch". That would have been witty. He's funny, but a definite asshole.

Scoop has such an unorthodox writing style, but some of the pieces he writes are just fantastic. Although I he seems to really straddle the line between friend and journalist to many NBA players.

You see that a lot with local guys. I really don't know Scoop's background, but that would be my guess.
