Ok, so we're 6 weeks into the NFL season, and I thought it would be interesting to see how people at this point think the season/playoffs are going to end up.

Here are 6 questions that I would like to know your answers to:

1. NFC Championship game (2 teams AND final score)
2. AFC Championship game (2 teams AND final score)
3. Super Bowl Champions (and final score)
4. MVP
5. Super Bowl MVP
6. Surprise team that makes the playoffs

here are mine:

2. Packers over Cowboys 28-21
3. Packers over Pats 28-24
4. Brady
5. Favre
6. Vikings (hey, I can dream, can't I?) :p

:lol yup. It'd be awesome. :D

I want to always put five bucks on something like 4-2 for the final score of all super bowl games. HIGHLY improbable, but if it happened, the pay out would be frigging up the ass!

As many people have picked the Packers as the Pats to win it all. :lol

I don't possibly see a team with as one-dimensional of an offense as they have winning the Super Bowl.

Sorry Pack fans, gonna have to agree with this guy. It's the same thing with the whole, SB teams have to have defenses to win.

Of course, Indy had possibly the worst defense in NFL history during the reg. season, then come playoff time they turned it around; so I guess you never know.

Thing is, the Packers do have a nasty defense. They've already won two games for the team. (Eagles and Redskins)

They've beat four teams that made the playoffs last year, and the running game will come around. Starting the season with three rookies in the top three slots is why the running game got off to such a slow start. But now that Morency is starting to come around, the team will start doing much better with the run game. If they can get the average of about 60 rushing ypg to say 85 or 90, then you're looking at a much more balanced team.

EDIT: They also have a very very good special teams game, which is equally as essential as either side of the ball (O or D).

Oh, I know/agree. GB definitely has a very good defense. I was just pointing out that it would be a hard task for a team without a running game to win the SB; just as it has been near impossible for teams without a decent defense to win a SB.

And I agree, you never know, if the Colts can somehow develop a defense in the playoffs, GB i'm sure has the time and opportunity to develop a serviceable running game.

Yeah, I mean, I'm oviously writing as a Packers fan, but it is still very young in the season. Who knows what can happen?

So I'm good on all of those picks so far, and I do believe what I said about the running game was almost spot on. :D The Pack finished with an average of 99 yds. per game and they have become so much more balanced. Go Pack!!
