It seems like 90 percent of sports news these days is negative, which makes it even more refreshing to read about a kid like Jason Ray. He seems to have touched more people and and impacted the world in a more positive way than any of us can even think about. Kudos to Wayne Drehs for writing such a fantastic, touching piece.

I read this yesterday, such an amazing and sad story.
Its a shame more people aren't like Jason Ray.

Same. That really hit home with me. The fact that so many coincidences occured is just crazy to think about.
I'm a donor as well, and only hope I can help someone out.

does donating blood mean youre an organ donor? I mean that seriously.

I guess it could be considered since an organ transplant patient needs a LOT of blood for the organ to work.

Well, technically I don't think so because blood isn't an organ is it?
And you're not giving up all of it, so I dunno.

I think it was Mike and Mike that was talking about this on ESPN Radio this morning. It was great hearing it on the radio, but reading it really hit home. It's great to see such a tragic accident touching so many people in a positive light.
I don't know if he did or not, but I really hope he absolutely loved Carolina basketball. Because then his last sights would have been doing what he loved with whom he loved. We should all be so lucky....
