Bittorrent and Vista??

Im looking into a new laptop, but my friend warned me about bittorrent not working on the microsoft windows vista os. I've never heard anything about that, so i asked an employee of bestbuy and he confirmed, saying that vista wont let you use bittorrent for some reason.... i would like to know before i spend a grand and a computer.

Those douchebags at Best Buy work there for a reason. They're the home electronics version of burger flippers. Go back into Best Buy, find said employee, and tell him that Matt Yette from Ants said he's an asshole. :)

BT works just fine on Vista. But save yourself even more trouble. Buy a Mac. Seriously. If you're pining that hard for Windows, you can still run it, but you won't need to after using OS X.

Matt hey it downloads on my computer but windows media won't play it, says the file isn't supported by the audio codec or something weird. I can't get playback on the shows. Any help would be good
