Hey y'all, please check this group out, join and help us get Jeremy Roenick back to the all-star game one last time. Thanks.

If you don't have myspace, who cares? Just go to the website to vote and write him in. He's been one of the most public figures in the game for almost two decades, love him or hate him he's done a ton for the game that we all love. He's having a great year so lets all get together and do a little something for a guy that has done so much for hockey in the states.

He's a good friend of mine and it'd really mean a lot to me if you guys would help me out. Thanks.

Is he a relief pitcher or something? I've never heard of him.

I love Jeremy Roenick. But he doesn't deserve to be an all-star. Sorry.

This is why fans shouldn't decide who goes to AS games, that shit is worth money for players and we've got idiot fans deciding it.

Roenick is a class act, i used to get autographs at the marriott right outside the nassau coliesum and he would always sign and chat with the fans...

I loved him as a Flyer, especially the OT winner against Toronto in the playoffs a few years ago, but he isn't an All-Star anymore, so he doesn't belong. There is a youth movement in the NHL right now and I'm loving it.

True that. And there are also some kids that aren't even drafted yet that are 16, 17 and 18 years old and are being projected as huge players. John Tavares for example broke Gretzky's junior goal scoring record last year as a 16 year old. There is a defensemen (Doughty) in juniors right now that is supposed to be a younger Lidstrom. There are so many goalie prospects that are highly regaurded as well Carey Price, Tuuka Rask etc.

It's a shame that this game isn't more popular in the states. I play hockey, watch hockey, follow hockey and even follow many of the big name prospects. I love this game to no end, it's non stop action IMO.

not sure if you're familiar with the sens, and their AHL afilliate, a kid from my hometown is making a strong case to get sent up, shawn weller.

It may take a little while for him to get sent up to the Sens, they are very deep right now. It says Weller played a few games in the ECHL (a step below AHL if you didn't know) this year, did he move up from the ECHL to the AHL do you know??

rangers, my grandfather and father all had season tickets until they got married. they used to do their training about 5 minutes from my house at the civic center. i had to hold mike richter's red delicious apple while he was walking down the street to get his autograph :lol im more of a football guy right now though, but i watch all the blue shirt games i can :thumbsup
