Complete idiot here - can u help

I have downloaded a show with UTorrent and then tried to upload it again but have not idea what a "Checksum" is or what to up in that field. I also tried to convert the files to listen them with Traders Little Helper, but the files dont show up under UTorrent when I look for them, or in the file that I saved them in - they just dont show up:shrug . uggghhh. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

once you downloaded a show you dont need to upload it back into u-torrent unless your starting a new seed or re-seeding. just once you downloaded it make sure you seed till your ratio is at least 1.1.checksum's look like this:
d+t2007-07-28d1t01.flac:14e685193f8dbf48a38255c8250239aa
most often are found in the fingerprint text file or the show text file after notes.
for playing the shows in any cd player download burrn. its free and easy to use been using it for a year now.
find out where u-torrent is putting the shows, its apparent its not where you think. the easiest way to do this in u torrent is to right click on the torrent then click open containing folder. then look at the file path
which would look something like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\dmb stuff\jmayer2007-09-06.mc012.flac
