It has to do with the way her hormones are. I can skip for a month or two because of stress and other situations.



She can get pregnant at all times. You have no idea when an egg will drop. You could release one or more at the same time and one could be in the tube while she is bleeding and it could get fertilized. The only 100% way to not get pregnant is abstinence.

There's a difference between sneaking behind your parents' backs and just not wanting to do it in the first place. I was drunk ONCE before I went to college, and it happened when I was visting that college (that I ended up going to). I think the key is to make your kids understand that drinking in high school is not worth it. Seriously. I was far too focused on getting into a good school, making national cuts and being in good shape.

You think that you 'get it' but you don't. If you go to a party and someone at that party gets drunk and then drives home and gets in an accident, the host of that party is FUCKED beyond human comprehension. High schoolers rarely think of those things. My parents made sure that I was well-aware of any and all consequences that came with alcohol at a young age, and it made me not want to drink.

Nothing drives me more batshit crazy than a parent who lets their kids drink in their house because "hey, if they are going to drink at least I can control it and they can be safe". Bullshit. It's a thing called being a parent. If you don't want your kid drinking, and they are determined/keep doing it, don't let them out of the house.

If that doesnt work, it's called shipping them off to the military. Kids today don't understand what it means to have consequences with their actions. they're so used to mommy and daddy bailing them out or not caring that they have no respect for themselves and no balls to tell the "in crowd" that it's not cool.

Theres nothing wrong with being involved, but you have to realize that at 14+ years old, you're really starting to develop as a person. If you don't give your kid any room to breathe, they'll sure as hell find ways to fly under the radar.

Everyone knew everyone, everyone told everyone what was going on, and seriously, everyone was too busy trying to rock it in sports to get out of the town and go to a school somewhere else. The kids who drank were talked about endlessly as though they were a bunch of posers.

Everyone who says they got drunk in HS might be 20 now. I'm 26. HS in the 90s and prior was very different from HS now.

No i understand that. i do not drive drunk, even a little bit because i do understand that. not that everyone my age does. but some of my friends have th most strict parents possible, worse than what you would be by far, and they are some of the biggest alcoholics i know. when i say i drink every weekend i'm not saying hammered drunk to where i can't walk. but i will have beer and play beer pong and stuff like that. i'm not drinking whole bottles of captain so that i shit my pants, and neither do my friends.

My parents knew what I was doing every second pretty much. And when they didn't exactly know, I told them straight up. When they can drive? okay, doesn't mean they'll get a car. If i have a 14 or 15 year old kid who seems to like being wasted and banging out people, they aren't getting a car. A car is not a right at 16, it's a privelage.
