Agreed my friend, I was just joshin'.....it wasn't as good as either of those examples but I just find it hard to find fault in anything he sings besides that one weird song and think, as he himself said, that Simon was simply nit-picking as to not leave him out in the cold regarding some sort of critisism.

This is a good point. He appeals to the Hannah Montana groupies, and while they would probably buy his album, there's no way it would actually be good. In a few years, I can see him following in the footsteps of, say, John Mayer (he only comes to mind because of David's first audition when he did such a good job of Waiting on the World to Change), but I think he really needs a few more years to let his voice mature anyways.

(By the way, I love Josh Groban, and I'm definitely not middle-aged:p).

I don't think they'd let him go on the show while he was stoned. I'm pretty sure that's just the way he is. And he didn't want to sing because A) his song sucked and B) if he were singing that would mean he was in the bottom two.

Agreed. Jason and Brooke had both been pretty solid until the last two weeks or so. Carly has been awful and hated far longer.

first of all, i'm sure he's not stoned, because they're all so closely monitored during this whole process, not to mention busy. even if he was, who cares?

second of all, he didn't say he couldn't sing, he said he didn't want to sing. meaning he didn't want to leave or be in the bottom 2.

I never said he did. I was just saying why he didn't want to sing. His "I don't want to sing" was nothing like Alaina's "I CAN'T SING!!!!". :lol

I disagree. I think she's been consistently solid. Annoying, maybe. Unattractive, ok. But Brooke has been equally annoying the past couple of weeks.
