The creative mind from Pink floyd's best albums. They need some one creative who can feed their creativity, not well versed in studio tricks like Batson or Rubin or Ballard.
Waters would be an amazing producer for the DMB.

Probably self-produced with a good engineer at this point.

Waters has been "working" on his newest album since 1992. He's a genius by any standard but perhaps not the most motivated man in the studio these days.

Yeah, that's what DMB needs, and egocentric asshole that will make everything about himself. It wouldn't be a DMB album, it'd be a DMW album.

Have you heard his solo work? It is complete and utter shit. There is no way I would ever want R Dub in any kind of way.
I am actually hoping that they produce this album themselves.

i don't think this would work at all. dmb needs to concentrate on getting their sound back.

Harris is a good engineer, but he's a mediocre producer. Obviously Lillywhite is the first choice but a good old jazz producer (and by this I mean REAL jazz, not some weak R&B ish jazz crap) or maybe a bossa nova producer from somewhere in Brazil.
