agreed... i dont see any of the songs we've heard as opening this album; instead, a new baritone based/jazzy upbeat track for opener...

shotgun is the most likely closer I see, perhaps, as some have said, a shotgun --> loving wings... But yeah, the only other slot I see for Shotgun is a solid 7/8 track...

i used to be keen on dream so real, but save for the lyrics, this song would be nothing more than a Ditch slot on the new album... a passover track 6 months after the release without a reworking of the music...

I think ADSR is a very bad opener. Too slow and too melow. They need something that shows off the uniqueness of the band and something with more energy, ala BOWA, SMTS, PNP. Crazy Easy is the only thing that I can think of out of the songs we know of to be a good album opener. Cornbread could be ok but they would have to make the intro more full.

Loving Wings would be a great closer. Its a great jam song and would leave a great taste in your mouth

Opener: Cornbread

Closer: Shotgun outro, extended, and with horns and carter.


Shotgun would be right in the middle of the album.

Of the songs we know I think Crazy-Easy or SUAD (if it were to be on the album) would be great songs to start, give it an up beat postive vibe ala BOWA, PNP, SMTS, etc.

If neither of these two make the album, it should be something up beat, I say no to ADSR, it is way to slow and deressing, great song for the number 6-7 slot, not first track. IMO

i definitely agree with you...maybe even ADSR-->New Song with a build up like two step (ADSR-->Sugar Will (w/ Trey) might work well...although sugar will needs to be worked on some of course) but if they have a new song that starts out kinda soft then builds up would be nice
