Saxophone - Where to start?

Hi guys,

I would like to start playing the saxophone and I've basically decided that I'd like to learn to play the soprano or alto. Other than that I don't know where or what to do. Do you guys know which brand is best? Links to any online stores? Any help would be appreciated!

My boyfriend has played sax forever and this is where he shops a lot... I think he bought his sax there.

My advice: learn alto first and just find somewhere to take lessons.

I would definitely suggest Alto...most students, I've found start on Alto, perhaps because it's easier to learn the lip shape for other saxophones from it.
