I took shotgun, just barely over Sugar Will and Crazy Easy
but a must on the new CD is Idea of you because it could be a mainstream hit, as much as you and i hate mainstream radio it will be nice for the band to get its name back out there

Shotgun & IOY!!
Really any of those songs will be great, although I don't see JTR ever getting done in the studio again.
I'm sad to Not see JoyRider on this list! With a lil more work I think Joyrider would be an awesome opener to an album as PNP-Rapunzel was to BTCS.
Remember Two Things......
-Don't have too high expectations, then one can only be let down.
-Go to as many shows as possible and it don't matter what the hell is on the album!
Once I was lost, but now I'm found. Thanks DMB!

Few things, though. It's called "Joy Ride", and was already recorded in studio and is on the Stand Up bonus disc (and was butchered). So there isn't much of a chance it's coming out again.
I'd really like to see Shotugn, Sugar Will, Crazy Easy and Loving Wings on the album. The rest I can do without (we already have great recordings of JTR and SUAD).

:thumbsup Main reason why I picked it. While he'll contribute a lot on Shotgun, he would make an already great song to one of the best songs the band has put out since the LWS or even before then.

SUAD, with Loving Wings in second. These songs seem like long-shots to make the album, so that's why I picked them. Songs like #27, Cornbread, Shotgun, and IOY will for sure make the album.

As much as I love Sugar Will and really hope it makes it onto the album, there is something about Shotgun that just gets me more pumped. Both songs have such potential to be amazing that I hope they are both included.

Oh, that is so not fair... Sugar Will AND Sweet Up And Down on the same poll? ;)
Edit: Also, is it just me, or does it seem like they'd have to be fools not to have *somebody* from the DMB inner-circle checking out these boards and getting an idea of the fans' feelings?

Loving Wings does have a possiable chance of making album. Many other studio albums contain at least one intro. Maybe this album's intro could be Loving Wings.
However I voted for Sugar Will I think it could really make an amazing studio album track.

sooo shotgun is of course my number one choice because its in my top 5 dmb favorites BUT i chose #27 because shotgun is just a given and i think #27 is a great song with great lyrics and i think it can really be worked on and become amazing in the studio. mark my words. ;)

I'd love to see Eh Hee on the album. I've got to admit, for as many songs that I like, Eh Hee jumped up there the first time I heard it. Just awesome.
I'd have to go with #27 though. I'd imagine it'd be pretty cool.

The longer time goes on, the more I'm sure that Shotgun and Sugar Will are the best of these songs. I always judge DMB songs by how many times I listen to them and still feel the way I did the first time, and I am consistently in awe of those two songs. Perhaps lyrically they aren't polished yet, but musically they are so intricate and exciting and wonderful. I like IOY, Cornbread, and others, but I definitely don't listen to them as much or really desire to. Loving Wings is also beautiful.
Anyway, just putting in my two cents.
Is there really any chance at all of JTR being on this album? Like realistically? I'm kinda doubtful of that.

Shotgun, Sugar Will, Loving Wings, Crazy Easy, and SUAD have the potential to make an album instantly a classic. Cornbread, IOY, and ADRS aren't quite on the same level of the first group I mentioned. Eh Hee and #27 could go either way I think.
As far as JTR being on the album, it would be hard to top the LWS version but I wouldn't say its impossible.

Exactly why I hate when people want it on an album, it was basically finished on the tLWS unlike most of the tracks.

I choose: Run While You Can!!
I friggin love that grainy audio floatin around there. That could be a radio hit!! After that my vote would be for Shotgun then Sugar Will then Loving Wings. And i am full support of Joyride staying in the live setting. It looses SO MUCH in the studio. JTR another one that should stay live.

I'd take GGT over Sug Wil and C-Easy any day. Sug Wil is decent, but something needs to happen to it to make it an exciting concert song - it's waaay too drawn out. C-Easy was just kind of eh. It's amazing how, as time passes by, people's opinions of Sugar Will and Crazy-Easy change, even though the songs are still the same (at least, as far as we know or are concerned) as they were the last time they were played in 2004. If I remember correctly, the polls from 2004 ranked the heavily rotated new songs like this:
1. Hello Again
2. Joy Ride
3. Sugar Will
4. Crazy-Easy
now it seems like Sugar Will is in the vast majority of Ants' top 5 on their want-to-see list. I'd rather see Hello Again back in rotation.
