I honestly don't trust any info until it is officially announced. Things change so fast and even the stuff that come from Jake and crew isn't always reliable (not necessarily their fault, like I said things change). As we've seen (i.e. WDS interview), the bullshit potential is very high on the internet and I struggle to really believe somebody who can't back up their information.

i think that anyone who frequents tdc or knows of smittay fairly well knows to take his info half-heartedly since it is oftentimes done for jest. if others around him speak up about a piece of info then i usually take it for truth.

That is a very ignorant statement. There are a lot of people there who are old timers who do have connections. the point is we know he's joking and he knows we know it. i think its funny that people on one message board are calling for a different message board to ban a random poster as if he's deeply insluted the first message board. the people at TDC know smittay is joking. sorry if those here did not.
I think it's pathetic that anyone finds any humor out of this. His "joke" wasn't funny, the "reaction" wasn't funny...it just wasted a lot of time, and it got us talking about something besides music, lyrics, or band members (which no one ever seems to talk about).

Also, if everyone knew he was ALWAYS joking, no one would ever reply to him, and all his threads would be closed or ignored. So obviously people believe him, both here and on TDC. But continue to stand up for him to waste everyone's time and show us how "funny" smittay is.

If you have been around the DMB online community long enough, you know who/where to trust...or just don't trust anything until its announced, which is the way to go.

Also goes to show how the fan base has changed. Back in the day DMB fans knew Mayer was garbage...now people clamor for him to guest.:lol

i'm pretty sure i've had accounts at both nancies and amidreaming as well. but i haven't been to either of those sites in years. different places offer different things and different groups of people. i was mainly a member here between 12/02 and 6/05, but then i found conversation that suited me more somewhere else. should i have asked the mods here to close my account?

Pretty good set, Last Stop opener.
