Reynolds is joining Matthews and other DMB members Carter Beauford (drums), Boyd Tinsley (violin), Stefan Lessard (bass) and LeRoi Moore (saxophone) at Haunted Hollow, DMB's personal recording studio on a private farm outside Charlottesville, for the group's yet-untitled latest studio effort.
Outside his work with Dave Matthews Band, Reynolds is also busy with his TR3, recording a new album and planning a fall tour. "We just really finished," said Reynolds about recent TR3 recording sessions -- which, like the upcoming DMB sessions, were also recorded at Haunted Hollow.
I was under the impression that they were recording the whole thing in Seattle, but I guess not.

"I've played some of these songs for a long time," Reynolds said, "but I'm feeling the songs now more than ever. ... I'm really connecting with the music. It's great to be able to play a gig and just like some of these songs so much -- even more than in the past."
great to hear

interesting read, I liked the part where dave said they have been in each others face while in studio. Sounds like they were pushing each other this time around

I don't understand. When is this supposedly happening?
They are on tour, they are not in Charlottsville recording, or recording anywhere for that matter.
There is nothing going on in terms of making the album at this moment.

This is either old, when they first started recording like last year, or they are finishing the album there after the tour instead of going back to Seattle. Much of the album was done in Seattle, as there was witnesses to band members going to the studio there.

Hopefully Cavallo will keep them from getting too off-task there.
As many have said, this thing is far from done. It seems that the sessions in Seattle were more about getting ideas together than anything.
Anyone have any idea where Busted Stuff was recorded at?

I believe that it was recorded at The Plant Studios in California.
