I was sitting in section 103, with a pretty good view of the stage.

Don't Drink the Water--I could tell this was coming as soon as the build up started behind the screen. Great version, great intro, lots of energy. Also a big fan of the screen that raises up, and shows pieces from the music videos.

Old Dirt Hill--I went and got a drink. Over quickly.

So Damn Lucky--one of the highlights of the show for me. Great song, the jam was terrific, and I thoroughly enjoyed the energy that the band put into it.

Dreaming Tree--I was hoping for it, and extremely happy to see it at my 4th show. I flipped out when I heard the riff and Roi came in. Very solid, I think that Tim adds a lot to it.

The Idea of You--I was hoping for Shotgun, but this is always a fun song to hear.

Cornbread--the crowds get into Cornbread. Tim tears it up. Not much more to be said.

You Might Die Trying--YMDT has come a long way since 2005. I really enjoy, and while there are other songs that I might prefer to see, I can't complain with this. Tim and Roi were both on fire.

The Space Between--a real surprise, I had no idea that this was coming, when Roi and Boyd left the stage I was expecting Sister. This was actually one of the high points of the evening. Only Dave playing, with some fills from Carter and Tim is really beautiful.

Sledgehammer--I didn't recognize this, but it seems that a lot of people did. Powerful.

Eh Hee--I enjoyed it, though I was really wishing for some more old material at this point.

Louisiana Bayou--a crowd pleaser. A good jam, and though I would have preferred something else, it was solid.

Out of My Hands--a haunting little song. Some funny Davespeak: "this is actually fake [referring to the piano]. It's actually the cage where I keep my monkey. He has a big orange penis, and two big blue balls."

Everyday--say what you will, but Everyday gets the crowd into it. Love singing it, enjoyable.

Ants Marching--snare intro started straight at the end of Everyday, very excited to finally hear this. Great version, very long Boyd solo at the end (at least it seemed).

Jimi Thing tease--cruel

So Much to Say-->Bridge-->Too Much--fun to hear, crowd pleasers.

Sister--really a beautiful song. I enjoy it, and like Tim's little additions.

PNP-->Rapunzel--Didn't see this coming at all, but very happy to hear it again. Seemed like the jam at the end was rather short, also had a hard time hearing Roi (actually on all of the songs that he played soprano on).

Thank You--Dave went NUTS with the dancing. I don't know if that's how he's been previous times with the songs, but I've never seen him go that crazy. I liked it as the closer.

Rather heavy on new material, but really...I had a fun time, and that's what matters. All of you people who sit and look at words on a screen and criticize need to just deal with it. The band was obviously having a good time (Dave seemed rather playful tonight), and even if I'd rather see Warehouse than YMDT, it's still a fun song to listen to. The setlist could have been stronger, but I got to see Dreaming Tree, Ants, So Damn Lucky, Rapunzel. Good time. Hot as hell though.

was at the show last night i thought is was a great setlist and when he was playing out of my hands witht he band fading in and out the entire crowd was talking i was really dissappointed in everyone talking when hes playing a awesome song. seems like a lot of younger poeple me being 25 were there for novelty and not there to here th band. other than that it was a great show and i agree witht he crowd getting lost with all the new songs we listened to piedmont park the whole way up and i was hoping hed play the new songs and the setlist was very close to piedmont featuring all new songs.

How did you get up and get a drink when they played Old Dirt Hill????? That was one of the best songs of the night. Tim and Boyd made the song sooooooo much better. But I think Sledgehammer was the best song of the night. They just tore that song up. Amazing!!!

I'm honestly kinda tired of Too Much and So Much 2 Say. But overall that was a great concert. They never ever disappoint me.

If they still played it like they used to, I would agree with you... but the new version is damn awesome.

nice review of the show... I was in 102... the only thing I'd like to add is it seemed like the crowd was lacking during ants... dave let the crowd sang "People in every direction...No words exchanged, no time to exchange" and I could barely hear anything

that made me sad

I'm glad to hear a review of the show that wasn't negative! I really had a blast, and I also loved Sledgehammer, and even got a kick out of Thank You. I was really hoping for Halloween as an encore, but I'm a a dreamer. ;)

Yeah, I was on the lawn this time (can't complain when the tickets are a gift!) and no one around me seemed into much of the set. I had overgrown frat boys behind me shouting for Satellite every song and asking "WTF is this?" everytime they started a song. Thought I'd lose it on them before the night was over.

First post, btw, hi :D I was on here years and years ago and found my way back.

Thanks! This was my 9th show (wish I could travel more to see them like a lot of the people on here!) and it really was a good one. Not the best, but I had an amazing time, as always. Reading some of the reviews on here got me down - doesn't everyone have an amazing time no matter what with this band? I do!

Uh-oh, just noticed your aviator - hope I didn't insult your fav song! Just not one of mine. :)

eh, people are a little more critical of the band on here than on other sites, you'll get used to it. It's just, we all expect so much out of the band, so it's kinda dissapointing when they didn't seem to play up to your standards.

And no you didn't insult me at all, lol. It's not my fav. song, but it's the song that got me attracted to DMB, so it holds a special place in my heart.:cool
