I didn't have any problems with traffic as i got there at a decent time so that was nice :thumbsup . I had a chance to meet Tim Reynolds guitar tech. prior to the show which was pretty cool, he talked a little about how he was supposed to be in europe with the counting crows until he got the call about working with DMB all summer and other random odds and ends. Then he brought up LeRoi and said that he got hurt pretty badly (broken ribs and a punctured lung) but said that Coffin would do a good job filling in (which he did)..... Now to the show:

STONE: guessed this opener a few days ago, The boys nailed it! Coffin really made his presence known on this one, Love this opener...

OLD DIRT HILL: Not my favorite but the crowd kinda liked it and some guy in a tie-dye shirt was dancin so i was amused, it was short so it is what it is...

YOU MIGHT DIE TRYIN: I've always been a fan of this song even on Stand Up, there was a lot of energy coffin was great and tim melted my face off....

EVERYDAY: Crowed likes it, enough said (tie-dye shirt was fun to watch again)....

EH HEE: Cool song, somewhat surprised me cause i sort of forgot about it....

DDTW: Caught me off guard, didn't expect it midset, but they busted it out anyways, always a good song....

GREY STREET: Saw dave get the 12-string and was thinking that maybe it was You Never Know since it has been soundchecked recently but then Carter busted out Grey Street, always a good song crowd dug it....

CORNBREAD: I hadn't heard any tapes from this year so it was nice to hear this song with a little more set lyrics, its got potential to be a great song.....

TWO STEP: Surprised once again, i picked this as the closer, the intro sounded like it might have been cool but it was hard for me to hear, one of my favorite songs....

PROUDEST MONKEY-->SATELLITE: I was hoping for a little more Tim during proudest monkey but there wasn't a ton, but i enjoy the song...Satellite i sat down took a break but a good song none the less....

JIMI THING: Crowd sang all the verses while dave sang only the chorus, Tim's solo was insane, Coffin had a great one as well, only problem was it was pretty lengthy....

SLEDGEHAMMER: Don't know why a lot of people around here don't like this cover but i think its awesome, they love playing it and it sounds great :thumbsup

BITCH: Not too familiar with this song but the crowd loved it.....

ANTS MARCHING: Knew it would be either this or SMTS->TM, its their theme song what else needs to be said....

Encore Break: Really cool, Dave came out with one of the camera men and had the entire crowd chant we want Roi while the camera man filmed it, Dave said he was going to send it to Roi for motivation to get better, Pretty touching or at least as much as a chant can be.....

MONEY: Love this song and love that the band is covering it, Tim rocked out i was happy......

SMTS->ASTB->TM: I knew Too Much would close, i almost thought it was WWYS at first but quickly realized it wasn't, not a terrible way to finish the night the crowd was diggin it....

Overall it was a good concert even though Roi wasn't there. The band seemed to be doing alright with it but it was obvious that they missed having him on stage with them. At times i could really tell that they liked what coffin brought to the table though, he messed up a couple of times but dave just smiled and went on with it. Tim adds so much to the show and this tour very glad that he's on board and hopefully on the album. I was a little dissapointed we didn't get anything new but it was a good show considering the circumstances. Can't wait till Raleigh tomorrow! :monkey

Yeah I always thought it was just because it was from Busted Stuff era, but a lot of the songs actually are not:

Busted Stuff
Diggin' A Ditch
You Never Know
Where Are You Going
Captain

Nope. It ain't.

WAYG has a 12 string on the studio version, but not live.
