Charlotte '08 "Could you hear us Roi?"

Man, I tell you what. I've been to quite a few shows, but never have I seen anything like this. The energy level brought by the crowd and fed on by the band was un-freakin-believable!!! You can complain about setlists, or band members not on tour, or terrible sound systems, (yeah you, Nissan!), but when it comes to the energy level of the crowd it's either there or it's not. Tonight was like no other. It was a one in a million show because of what occured with Leroi, on the a.t.v. in C-ville. The man filling in for him had a few kinks but overall he performed very well and made few mistakes. He fed off the crowd pretty well and a blind person wouldn't have been able to tell it wasn't Roi up there!! The highlight of this night had to be when Dave took the stage before the encore and got the crowd to chant for Roi! Amazing!!!!! And although we got a four song encore I was still kinda hoping for Watchtower. I'm glad to have made the trip to Charlotte because I was a little dissappointed after Nissan. I guess you have to bust your ass on an a.t.v. to spruce up a tour huh?!! oohh that's cold. Hope Leroi comes back better than ever, and heard all the ants last night!!! I got one more thing to say. Yes, I know it's Butch Taylor and Tim Reynolds, not B. reynolds and T. taylor, damn can't a brother be dyslexic and drunk at the same time!!! To all those who were at Nissan and then Charlotte, take a good look at the neatness and quality of Verizon compared to Nissan. Here's an idea Manasass, take some of that Gov. money you got and fix up your cheap, dirty, and sounds like shit, amphitheatre!!!!!!!
