Third row section 3

DDTW: It's been opening a lot this tour, but it blows the doors off you. From the start you could tell the entire band was playing at peak intensity, especially Carter.

Dreaming Tree: Very nice. They sure do like to drag this one out. Go ahead, berate me.

OSW: Good placement. Was expecting Cornbread.

Rhyme and Reason: Tim Reynolds.

Crash: Great spot. Was expecting Cornbread.

Help Myself: Nice surprise. Carter rips the middle of this song.

Money into Money: Fantastic. The energy was greater than the tapes of it i have heard thus far. We knew they had to play some covers after just one last night. These were enjoyable.

PFWYG: Crowd easer. I loved it.

Crush: Best performance of a song by DMB i have heard in 26 shows. My lame ass review can not do this justice. Tim and Jeff did a dueling jam that melted everyones face. Even casual fans were left in awe. Wait for the tapes to partake in it.

Old Dirt Hill: Perfect placement. The band could have just stood still on stage for four minutes and it would have been okay in this spot. After Crush, we needed a moment to gather ourselves.

Bayou: This song looks like a turd on the setlist page, but live it is fun. Boyd did a nice lap around the stage and the band laughed at him.

Gravedigger: Great emotion for a "slow" song.

Eh Hee: Tim Reynolds.

SMTS>Bridge>TM: Was expecting Cornbread. This was a wonderful way to end the set. Until, they didn't walk off stage quite yet, and Dave started playing...

Lover Lay Down tease: It was teased, trust me. My friend and i both shouted it out at the same. My friend Drew is a guitar virtuoso and i am just a hack, but we both heard the same thing.

Billies: Boyd once again did a few laps around the stage and it was perfect.

PNP>Rapunzel: First encore slot. Wow. Made everyone happy so they could close with...

Thank You: It's good to see the entire venue get into a song like this. Was expecting Cornbread.

My ears hurt. Im off to bed. Any questions, leave em.

P.S. I don't hate Cornbread, i'm just shocked it wasn't played tonight for the first time in 143 shows. Good day.

I had a fucking great time with this set list. I just don't have anything to complain about at all, so I'm going to bed. I'm not sure I liked Thank You at the end, but other than that this was the best show I've been to in a long time. Maybe I'll sober up and change my mind a little, but I don't think so.

Damn what a good show this was!

Im up here in the Northeast in NY and yes, I was at SPAC, but if the tapes are as good as the setlist looks from N2, it could be very close for show of the year so far. You guys defintely got the best combined 2 nights, and it just goes to show that DMB can pull anything off anywhere and all the venue pride is just nonsense because of nights like the past two. You guys are lucky and hope you had as good a time as I expected you to have at 2 great DMB shows.

Last night was amazing. The show was so great and the encore was the best. Thank you was so high energy not only by the band but by dmb. I thought after rapunzel they might end the show but it contiuned on to one of the greatest endings. When Dave took off the guitar and started dancing around the stage and singing along with the crowd...it was one of those great moments.

When did people stop like DMB music and start liking a cover band?

Hey Brad!

I'll do as I please, thanks. It's not even close to great encore.

Thanks!

Edit: Not to mention, I didn't think pointing out a statement that literally made no sense concerning the energy "of not only the band but dmb" and one question constituted bitching. Who took the jelly from your donut this morning? :lol

I was at SPAC for both shows and went to all three Florida shows. Despite hearing #40 night two of SPAC, these two WPB shows were by far phenomenal. The way Money ----> Money (thats what I want) was played had such a higher energy level than the versions played at SPAC. Overall, both shows were fantastic and I really couldn't say which night was better. Great shows in Florida this year.

I came down all the way from CT. I was at both hartford shows wich were un fucking believable. But night 1 here in WPB blew me away! setlist wasnt the greatest thye could ever play, but the intensity of the crowd and the band combined was unbeatable. Cornbread during night one was incredable with the jam! never heard it played that well. But all in all the 2 nights down here in WPB were fucking amazing and deff. worth the 1,500 mile flight. hahaha. But i also thought it was cool that i was there in hartford last summer when they played Cornbread for the first time as a full band and was there in WPB when they did their first fullband show without playing it since they played it last year in hartford. but yeah. greatttt weekend. could not beat the energy in that place! bummed that my 4 shows of the summer are over now though....still a great Summer of DMB for me!!! :)

So this was brought up on a thread that got closed but did anyone hear a 34 tease before crush. i know everyone was preoccupied with the Lover lay down tease. But my friends and i heard Stefan do the base line of 34 like 3 times before dropping into the crush base line. Just wondering.

Did it sound like Jeff was running out of energy during the duel between he and Tim during Money? It sounded like he was really struggling to get his sax to blow???

Hello fellow ANTS - first time posting. My hubby and I went to WPB with 4 of our closest friends and had a fucking blast! This was our 3rd or 4th time in WPB; we always love the shows there. Two awesome nights - hard to pick which night was best for us. We loved different aspects of each show, but I personally LOVED seeing Dave dance his ass off toward the end of night 2! It's a great feeling to know they enjoy playing at a venue you attend. Also attended the after party on night one, but got there late and were so tired that we didn't stay long - we will have to plan better next year. Now, I have to get a few things off my chest, though. First of all the parking sitch sucked! We were pissed about not being to tailgate until after 4:00 (without paying). Also, I know everyone has been complaining about this, but I have to as well - I wish everyone would shut the fuck up during the quiet songs! I'm also sick of how inconsiderate so many "fans" are becoming. Look, I know it's a concert and you're going to be close to people, but don't shove your way in and stand right in front of someone and practically stand on them. Seriously happened to me and a couple of my friends several times on night two. When we asked nicely for these people to relocate we were ignored. Not really what I would expect from someone who calls themselves a DMB fan - ya know, peace, love your brother, etc. Just love, people! At any rate, sad that my two shows are over for this year - looking forward to next summer already!!

I work at PGA, and went to night 1. N1 was, to put it bluntly, a blur, unfortunately. Very disappointed in myself for tailgating too hard, haha. Hope everyone enjoyed the service at PGA, it was nice to hear good music over the speakers outside for once.

Big difference between crying and pointing out what clearly isn't the best encore ever, that's all. Hell, I wasn't there. If others enjoyed it, great. I have seven more shows that I am going to. I am sure I'll get a cover ending at five. Still going, but that doesn't mean that I can't comment on something.

Section 3, Row Z, Seats 15-16

Don't Drink the Water-I agree with below. This song has been play a lot but it absolutely gets the crowd pumped instantly. It's a great sign when the whole band plays with such intensity the very first note. Great song, especially at this show.
Dreaming Tree-Great song to hear... brings the intensity down a little, but still awesome. Coffin had a great sound during this song and the whole crowd was singing. Very cool moment.
One Sweet World-I thought we may get this, but I wasn't sure. It was great to hear it live again.
Rhyme and Reason-Awesome.... Energy back to a 10. got the crowd pumped.
Crash into Me-As one post put it. Standard operating procedure. It was however good to hear crash and the girlfriend of course enjoyed it. Good sexy time music.
Help Myself-Wow for one. As soon as I heard the beginning I was amped. The crowd was definitely into it and it was great to hear it again.
Money ----> Money-Awesome cover. Dave's voice sounded great and Tim was f-ing amazing. Can't believe it. Money (that's what I want) was a good little break in the show. Definitely made the whole crowd happy as shit.
Pay for what you get-couldn't believe it. Really wanted to hear this, but I didn't expect it. Sounded great.
Crush-Another great song. So far this show has a little bit of an older feel. Really enjoyed crush and the horns sounded amazing.
Old Dirt Hill-Beer/Bathroom break. Got back in time to see the end, sounded good. Have never really been into the song that much, but was nevertheless good to hear.
Lousiana Bayou-don't really remember this.
Gravedigger-I imagine this is when I got back to my seat. This is my girlfriend's favorite song and it was pretty intense to hear it in the pavilion with everyone singing. Great energy eventhough its a slow song.
Eh Hee-I really enjoy this song and the energy was great.
So much to say-Bridge-too much-full energy at this point. Can't get enough of that jam especially with Coffin going nuts.
Lover lay down (Tease)- Really wanted to hear it, a little upset I didn't.
Tripping Billies-Blew my mind. Great job. Tim is nuts.
PNP/ Rapunzel- sounded pretty great. I was pretty drunk at this point and was still pretty amped from the entire show.
Thank You-sounded good, but I haven't heard the song too many times.

Hope this helps

Hey all, haven't posted in a long time. I need to show myself around here more and get to know everybody. Anyway, just thinking about the WPB shows a few days later. The shows were UNBELIEVABLE! I can't pick which night I liked better, I like each one for different reasons. Also stayed at the PGA resort for the after parties. My buddy came down from Philly and we had a blast. A big thanks goes out to the friendly tailgaters next to us who were nice enough to invite us under their tent when it poured on Saturday. Hope you guys enjoyed the soggy BBQ chips. My wife and I moved from Pittsburgh to Orlando a year ago, so I miss going to our "stomping grounds" at PG Pavillion for the shows. I must say though, the shows last year and this year at Cruzan have been like a home away from home. Great shows, great atmosphere, cool people. Looking forward to next year and hope to get to know everybody here on Ants. Later.

Tim
