Just made it back to the Hampton Inn in Fishers, IN and still can't believe the set I witnessed.

Don't Drink - Knew it was coming when I heard Dave messing with the D chord, all around solid version, got the crowd going.

So Damn Lucky- love the new outro, dave didn't sing the Round and Round a million times

Eh Hee- Like what Tim adds, the crowd seemed into it.

Water/Wine- didn't see this coming at all, nice surprise and then it went straight into....

Two Step- this really set the place on fire, awesome solos from both Tim and Carter

Proudest Monkey- Love this song, I could hear it at every show

Satellite- knew it was coming, good version

Cornbread- Dave changed up the opening lyrics and didnt' go straight into "Dancin with the devil round a fire"

Dancing Nancies- only my second time hearing this song, Boyd stole the show on this one

Dreaming Tree - At last I get to hear my favorite DMB song in a live setting, it was around 9/10 minutes which seemed like the perfect length.

Sledgehammer- My mom was with me and she loved it, as did most of the crowd. Can't go wrong with Peter Gabriel, this is the 2nd best cover (next to Money).

Stay - love it midset, solid version

Lover Lay Down- I nearly shit my pants, the boys played this one flawlessly. What a treat.

Drive in Drive Out - My first DIDO, LLD, Water/Wine, Dreaming Tree all in the same night? Love this song, funky tea party included.

Jimi Thing- the best Jimi I've seen live, it didn't drag out whatsoever and ended on a whim.

#41- wow, Jeff stole the show on this one, this one is worth checking out

So Much To Say- it was already 10:50 at this point but it was a solid version

ASTB - longest ASTB I've ever seen, love the horns during this

Too Much - Nice version with Dave adding a few extra words at the end after the Jam

YMDT- Timmy saved this one, the boys didn't drag it out

Bayou- saw the baritone and knew what I was in for, the crowd really loves it and it looked like the band did too.

Overall out of 5 shows this was the best I've been to, the main set was arguably one of the top 3 of the summer and the boys played everything perfectly tonight. The show didn't end until 11:30 and I don't think the band wanted to stop playing, they were clearly enjoying themselves. Also I just want to give a shout out to the amazing Deer Creek crowd, I think the band really fed off the energy and it showed. With the way the main set played out I can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store.

I agree, that show was unbelievable! Encore could have been better, I personally am a fan of Bayou and like YMDT, but not a strong encore. But overall, can't really complain when the main set was incredible. Looking forward to night 2!

Satellite seemed "off" to me. I think it was Boyd's part. Just seemed out of sync...

By the way, "I don't know how to say 'Get the fuck off my face' in Spider."

Great show. Very impressive as i have seen Dave about 10 times. Jeff Coffin and Tim Reynolds stole the show and #41 and Jimi Thing were definite highlights! Wish i could stay for tomorrow!

I just wanted to add that Rashawn gets a lot of shit around but he had an amazing night tonight, as did everyone.

Rashawn was on fire tonight. I hope Dave keeps him around to add some variety and depth to the horn arrangements!

that was my 27th show and it may have been my favorite. definitely the most energy from the band that i have ever witnessed. i kept thinking the show was over...then they played #41 and my mouth dropped...the astb tease with the lights out was great....having timmy on stage is like having a special guest for every song and brings back the nostalgia and sound of the first three cd's. amazing night...no SU, EVERYDAY OR BUSTED STUFF SONGS until the encore..the encore is the only thing that makes me timid on placing this as my favorite dmb show that I have seen. Every jam was upbeat without Butch Taylor on the keyboard....VERY, VERY, VERY NICE!
