I don't see Jantz around here much anymore, but here were his pre-season playoff plans.

The Playoffs:

The winners of the leagues will be entered automatically into the playoffs at the end of the season. Two teams with the largest amounts of points (that did not win their league) will be named Wild Cards for the playoffs. Making it a 16 man playoff, 8 from each conference.

We will base seeding at the end of the year – based on the amount of points you received up until the playoff decision time. The bracket will be set up exactly like the bracket of an NBA Playoff system. You have the first round, the second round, the conference championship, and finally the Ultimate Final.

Owners will face each other for two/three shows each round. The highest amount of points after the two shows advances to the next round in the playoffs.

The First Round: 8/22 and 8/23
The Second Round: 8/25 and 8/26
The Conference Championship: 8/29, 8/30, 8/31 (The Gorge Run)
The Finals: 9/05, 9/06, 9/07 (The final 3 shows)

That leaves 43 shows for the regular season, and 10 shows for the playoffs. I think this system will be a lot more fun, and will work out a lot better.

if no one is apposed i suggest we move this back a show since we have an extra one (msg) and it seems that were not gona be ready for tomorrow..

to be eligible for the playoffs you have to post that you won your league or that you are trying to get the wild card spot with how many points you had in how many shows. this will determine the seeding. we can only have one wild card instead of two because there are only 7 leagues.. unless someone who won their league isnt gona go into the playoffs in which case someone can take a second wildcard.

once we have the 8 teams in order we can make the brackets.

I tried finding out who won in League Halloween and Hello Again, but i have no idea what happened in those leagues.

Either we hope that they eventually start joining the league. Or we could go with the 5 leagues that have been constantly keeping up, and then take those winners and add 3 wild cards.

any ideas? I realize this is all last minute, but also shouldn't be so hard to keep track of once we decide how to set it up.

A PNP opener is the equivalent of a Rapunzel opener. For all intents and purposes of this game, they are one in the same.
