Tonight was very intense. You could see and feel the grief that the band was feeling with the loss of their "brother" LeRoi. Every song felt even more personal and so many of us cried during bartender and the maker. Dave said some sweet words about LeRoi and talked about the first night he met him. He said he saw him play somewhere over the rainbow and fell in love with him and says he is still in love with him. The looks on the faces of Carter and Boyd were heartbreaking at times. They played an insanely good show and it was easy to tell that it was a way to release some of the difficult emotions they were feeling tonight. RIP LeRoi.

I agree with everything you just said. Although the show was nothing special lyrically and it may not show up on the tapes, there was a special energy and emotion in the air that may never be felt at another show. Tears during bartender and the maker where common around me, and leroi chants could be heard through out the night. Beautiful show tonight, and one I will never forget.

So glad they were able to get through the show and paid respect to a great musician with great musicianship!
