Ok, so no Gorge threads yet. I only went to night 2 and it was pretty kickass, so I think a rundown is in order.

Dreaming Tree - Was expecting Seek Up or DDTW as opener, so this came as a pleasant surprise. Pretty similar to last year, they played it great

OSW - I've seen this 4 out of 4 full band shows now, twice as opener and twice as the second song, so I half tuned it out, but hey, it's great song. I think they should try to bring the intro back soon though.

Stay or Leave - Nice, another surprise. Didn't know they worked on it at all with the band and surely wasn't expecting it more than once this tour, the full band additions fit in nicely.

Two Step - Again, not expecting it so early. Carter raped it, and Tim made everything 10x more amazing. It just won't be the same if he doesn't come back next year, I made sure to savor it.

STJL - REALLY not expecting it, I was very happy to hear this. A much better set filler than ODH, that's for sure.

Grey Street - 12 string came out and I knew it would be. Standard

Bayou - Wasn't excited to hear it, standard version..

OOMH - Dave commented on how he only needed his two pointer fingers to play it and that was the extent of his piano skills, and proceeded to sing "just the two of us". Pretty funny. Song itself was just an excuse to relax from such a high energy set so far.

Sugar Will - FUCK YES. If there was one unreleased song to hear I'm so glad it was Sugar Will. Lyrics were obviously about Roi again, pretty well improvised. Still irritates me that he won't say 'sweet' anymore =P

Jimi Thing. Very good rendition. They ended the song with dave singing "this is for the kids" and making fart jokes (Jeff filled in with fart noises). I like that they switched it up and didn't do FWIW in the outro.

Sledgehammer - Was looking forward to this all night, and it was definitely a highlight and one of the best songs of the set. What a perfect song for them to cover, in my mind. I love Peter Gabriel, so that helps. They do the song more than justice.

PNP>Rapunzel - Dave hit all the high notes and then some. His voice was really on tonight and this was the prime example, not to mention the sound itself was crystal clear where I was.

Stolen Away - Eh. Energy killer, I hate to admit, cause I like the song in a non-live setting. They played it as well as it could have though.

Crush - Holy shit solos. Tim and Jeff facing off, just insane and awesome. Another highlight of the night. Stefan's intro was interesting too, carter did a little percussion which could have easily turned it into a jam if they wanted..

SMTS - As soon as this started all I could think of is "too much fake > halloween plz". So I had chills through this and ASTB, the stop time just made the anticipation rise more and more, and then...

Too Much - blue balls. They like never play the full song anymore, I thought. But there it was, to close. Kinda disappointed, but the rest of the set was really great so I couldn't complain all that much.

The #34 LeRoi slideshow was really well done, made me feel sad and reminded me how much of a loss it really was. The band carrying on like they are is really respectable. Glowsticks were flying, almost got nailed with one, but it was a nice touch.

Sister - Didn't care too much, standard version, was just waiting for a hopefully killer encore.

Hey Hey My My - Pleasant surprise, I like this one, high energy and got the crowd going again.

Stay - Ehhh.. was still hoping for somethin better but when you really think about it, stay is a good dancing song and I got into it.

An awesome set overall, well worth the trip to this amazing venue, nothing will top it for me, from scenery to sound.

You're absolutely right about Rapunezel Nexx. Dave hit those high notes beautifully. One of the best renditions I've heard! Hey Hey My My was a solid treat too.

Seriously. They have opened with it several times this tour, you know.

But they closed with it N1...so why would they play it again the next night?

For one, seeing as I only really glanced at the set that night before I left I probably didn't realize that, plus, it's not like DMB doesn't repeat songs.
