The Stone - I love this as an opener, and this makes it two shows in a row I've seen it. Last time was at Alpine. The band even appeared to try and get the crowd to sing Fools Rush In like at Alpine, but it didn't happen. Dave actually sang "I can't help falling in love." during the outro. I can't recall a single full band version with him doing that.

One Sweet World - They soundchecked it, and it was the same at the SC. Even down to the scat. Standard version, nothing mind blowing.

Don't Drink the Water - Had the "This Land is Your Land" and a long intro.

Eh Hee - I enjoy this song this year, but they perform it the exact same way every time. Not much to add.

Water/Wine - This segwayed from Eh Hee, and I love seeing this song. I kind of wish Dave would write some additional verses. Nothing has yet to touch Columbus.

Gravedigger - Standard

Grey Street - They took a long time before starting this, as if they were working on something. I over hype things in my head like "OMG THEY ARE GOING TO DO A THIRD VERSE!" and of course it never happens. I can dream though, I can dream. Nice long jam at the end.

Dreaming Tree - This was my 12th time seeing this song, and I don't believe I'll ever get sick of it. It's just a great song, and they can't play it enough. I do wish they'd bring back the Rashawn solo with Dave wailing over it. Still I love how Coffin's flute solo sounds.

Stay or Leave - Saw it Alpine with just Dave, Tim, & Carter. I have heard the tape of the Gorge version. They checked this song twice today, and I think they really nailed it this time. Carter was just perfect on it. Makes me sad to know that when Tim leaves so do the Some Devil songs.

Cornbread - Dave's dance was great as usual.

Burning Down the House - Rashawn and Dave have gotten a lot better singing this together.

#41 - Release this. iTunes comp, Warehouse disc, ect. I don't really care how.

ASTB --> Too Much [Fake] --> - They took a long time before ASTB and messed with the timing a little more then usual.

Trippping Billies - Standard.

Sister - Got a good response from the crowd. Being that it was my 17th time seeing it... I could have gone without it.

Two Step - DL this, Carter went insane. Yes I'm aware how he solo's on this now. This was that, but longer and crazier.

Question : How loaded are you to see this many shows all over the damn country? J/k, but you obviously have invested a TON of cash this summer in seeing the boys play. Is this a one-time thing this summer only, or do you do this every year?

Nice review.

How do you go to 17 shows in a summer and not go to the Gorge?????? Great Review, best review I've read on the "just got back from the show" thread.

I'm not loaded, I'm a college student who works at a T.G.I.Fridays. When I was 18 I got those 1st Financial Bank student Visa cards. Because you have no credit history they start you off at $250. Because I buy tons of stuff online, or just buy stuff with it and pay the bill as soon as I get it. I've worked that limit up to a little over $15,000.

So I'm able to charge all my tickets, my portiion of the hotels (I always go with my g/f and sometimes others to split hotel and gas cost) and what not. Then I just start paying it off. By the time the shows come. I usually only have gas and food to worry about.

I didn't watch it, but I could hear it. I posted in the Soundcheck thread while I was listening.

Shotgun

There might have been more, but it just got too loud where I was at. Though I'm willing to bet Shotgun was the last song.

Actually only 16 shows. In my sig I have all of my 08' shows. Which includes Bloomington. The free D&T show in Indiana. Though I did have to drive 3 1/2 hours to get there.

Went to the Gorge last year. I could only afford one big trip that would involve plane tickets. I drove to everything else, I live in a good spot of the midwest. I live about 30 minutes from downtown Chicago.

I get to hit up Alpine and Deer Creek every year. If I didn't think this was the only year for the Greek, I would have returned to the Gorge for the second time. Next year though I'm probably going to 5 shows max. Alpine, Deer Creek, and Toyota Park. The real local stuff.

N2 of the Greek will be my 40th, and N3 my 41st. That includes 4 D&T shows though. I only went to two shows in 2004 and three shows in 2005. So going into 2006 I had only been to 5 shows. Been a crazy two years.

If anyone is going to be at the Sunday night show in Berkeley...

There's a great show happening at Blake's on Telegraph, and if you have a DMB ticketstub you get in for free. (For everybody else it's $10, but free if you went to the DMB show.)

Make an even longer night of it, eh?
