searching for new guitar

I am thinking about buying my first acoustic/electric guitar. Right now I have an Epiphone AJ acoustic. I've learned quite a few dave songs and would like to move to an acoustic/electric...I am thinking right now between the Epiphone SST Studio like dave used to play or the Epiphone PR5-E...I would appreciate any other recommendations within this price range as well. thanks. Wow I didn't realize they still made the Epiphone version of the SST. I see they took the Chet name off of it though. I wish they still made the Gibson version. I got mine used at a good deal but I'd love to have a brand new one in pristine condition.

wow, i didnt know they made those either. $350. almost worth it to try and get dave to sign and hang in the DMB room (i dont have a DMB i dont know what you are talking about)

anyway, my next acoustic electric might be a 1100 dollar Carvin or a 2,000 dollar Taylor. Havent decided, need to play the AC275 and AC375 again.
