I did! We were on our way to the mall, and I remembered there was a DSW (Discount Shoe Warehouse...not sure if that's a national thing or not) across the street and we stopped in. I found these Steve Maddens (http://www.shoestation.com/shoestation/product.asp?dept_id=3113&pf_id=PAAAIAJHLCMBCAGA&ad_id=froogle&key_id=PAAAIAJHLCMBCAGA&) for $17, and I couldn't pass up such cute casual heels for such a great price. The heels for the wedding ended up being Liz Claibornes, and even after shopping for another 3 hours in department stores, I couldn't find anything better. I just spent about 20 minutes looking for a picture, but I couldn't find them. :p

So I arrive this morning to an e-mail that is to my boss with me cc'd on it. (In case anyone is not aware, my boss recently got promoted to oversee another part of the company. I did not receive a promotion or raise.) Anyway, almost all of the stuff I am supposed to do on a regular basis I've automated, hence the ability to post on Ants all the time. So my boss asks me to automate this report for his new role, which I do. I am reading this e-mail and apparently this is saving their group like 2 hours per day. Hearing this of course makes me happy and I'm anticipating it making my boss happy. I'm sitting here expecting to hear at least a thank you from my boss. Instead I receive this e-mail (which is in reply to the thank you e-mail):

Ya know...I really don't even care at this point. At first I was looking strictly for nursing jobs....but who is going to want to hire me into a position - when I'll just have to leave it in 5 1/2 months when I'm done w/ school? So now I'm thinking it really doesn't matter to me - just something part time that will work around my school schedule and pay my rent & car payment.....other than that....nothing too specific.

The best part is my company has no official policy on sick days. So, per my boss, as long as we don't abuse it, we can call in sick whenever we like (even if we aren't sick). Perfect.
