I do for that reason as well. I like to control what employers/potential employers can see.

It's not about a bailout. It's about their 3Q earnings announcement and their future cash position.

Kinda like how I met a guy about a month ago, and on our FIRST official date, he asked me my opinions on Love.

I said, "Love is something you don't bring up to me having only really known me 3 days, so I'm gonna go now". Why does ever GD guy on the face of the planet think that ever GD chick in her mid-late 20s wants to get married RIGHT NOW. arrrughat!

He said one time. I just did it rather than explaining it to him. Of course, now another client wants the same thing. I e-mailed him the steps. He says it's too confusing. I know he just wants me to do it. Newsflash. I'm not.

So after I was all moved into the new apartment and people took off, I went to walk Trajan and couldn't find my keys. Call the brosef and they're in his pocket. So my Dad comes to drop the keys off on Tuesday. He also dropeed off some other crap and let the dog out. The girl who lives above me is deathly afraid of dogs. (No kidding. She screamed like in a horror flick when she came downstairs and Trajan was in the yard and she walked out there. Yeah, crazy.) Anyway, I see her Friday and she says to me "Your boyfriend stopped by earlier this week. I would have said hello, but he was with your dog and well, you know." Immediately confused and forgetting my dad was there, I replied "What? There was a man in my house?" Her reply, "Yeah, the dog seemed to know him, so I thought it was okay." Me, flushed with relief "Do you mean my Dad"? Blah, blah, blah..conversation ends.

This happens all the freaking time going back to college. Seriously, why do people think I don't like girls, when I do. Very much so as a matter of fact. It's annoying. For real, is my voice gay? What the fuck is it? Sometimes I wonder if I am walking around with a dick hanging out of my mouth and I am the only one who doesn't know.!

:lol:lol not a whole lot, still upset about the Rams getting raped by the Jets today.

What really pisses me off is not that we're bad, it's that we won 2 games in a row, and not only did that bring hope, but also, if you're going to suck, suck so we can get the first draft pick, but no, we can't even do that

I very much miss living there. But, it was just too far to commute for my job. I mean, it took me 1.5 hours to go 18 miles in today's light snow. The drive from Ann Arbor would be >40 miles and it would take me through several messy freeway interchanges. Not good.

Professional service firms don't seem to get Vet's Day off. So, I've not had it off since I had college part time jobs. But actually, now that I think about it...the bank I worked at in college took it away as a paid day off as well. So much for those "bankers hours". :mad

The Big 3 automakers don't take today off either. They push the day-off to the day that kicks off hunting season. (is it this Friday? I have no idea.) So many of the factory workers would call off that they just moved the day off. Makes sense as far as efficiency goes but I've always thought it to be ridiculous in theory. Phhssssst. I am very clean and I literally spend 15 minutes in the bathroom in the morning. Not a good excuse.!

Brian and I shared a bathroom for 5 or 6 mos. It wasn't that bad, really. He's not in there for long in the morning.

Actually, we still kinda share. All the morning getting ready stuff is done in the same bathroom since it's close to the bedroom. He does go go the other bathroom to do all of his magazine reading though...

Just drink a lot of water after you're done! Flush that shit out of your kidneys!!! They are probably trying to battle a spot w/ Promethazine(phenergan) - it's really caustic to give in IV form and has pretty severe side effects.

Alright, I need to overreact about work stuff.

My company has an office in TX. We were not subject to TX tax until TX changed their law and our type of company became subject to tax. So, main point - we became subject to tax because THEY changed the rules. (not because we did anything differently)

So, we filed a 07 TX return. As a result, we rec'd a notice requesting us to call them. :rolleyes

I just called the extension they provided us in the notice. I got a voicemail that stated their office hours (they're currently open) and an explanation that they might be in a meeting or receiving an influx of calls. Then something went haywire and it played someone else's voicemail message to them for me. I was then disconnected.

WTF?!?! :twak

I'm a sirius subscriber and I noticed a lot of XM additions this morning....including 90's on the 9 - which I was HOPING was going to be like Lucy......sadly I heard Melissa Etheridge, Paula Abdul, Wilson Phillips....I was CLEARLY disheartened by that non-sense.

No, 90s on 9 is more of the pop 90s stuff. There's occasionally something good on there but not as often as an alt-rock 90s station. I have heard "Spice Up Your Life" and "Ice Ice Baby" on there though, so it is excellent for laughs on occasion.

I actually prefer most of the Sirius music channels over XM but XM is what is installed in my car, so I don't really have a choice. I was surprised though...didn't know it was switching over. I did see an email about it from XM sent at 3:50 AM as soon as I got to the office though.

I think the best switch though is Ethel ---> Alt Nation. Ethel played a lot of 90s and early 00s music. When I turn that station on, I want to hear new stuff. If I wanted to hear old stuff, I would turn on Lucy/Lithium.

I get frustrated with the mods here. Hence why I left for so long.

Its not, I agree. Having all the PoliSci threads is not as good as having the entire two pages of nDMBc filled with threads about breakfast. Greatest day ever. :lol

:lol I was not here for that day. That's great.

It got so bad that they were revoking thread privileges left and right.

I think the mods do a pretty good job around here. There are a lot of morons who post crap. Also, the term bigot and racist was WAY too prevalent in those threads. I guess online it's acceptable to show zero class. :thumbsdow

Not aimed at you, just saying expressing my thoughts on PoliSci. :)

I liked reading the actual discussions...you know, ideas being presented and debated, sans name calling and F-bombs. But, that didn't seem to happen for very long before it blew up into unintelligent nonsense.

Everyone's an expert. I especially loved the kids who are in college taking some poli-sci classes. Holy shit, if I could only be so smart. :lol

It's one thing when it's a topic very specific to your area of expertise. (i.e. someone making a ridiculous statement about tax and me correcting them) But, overall, I'm willing to bet that's not the case for the most part in that forum.

Edit: I wish I would have taken more poli sci classes. :lol

Not at all. It's all opinions, but people don't realize that. A huge one is "religion is stupid". Some people really don't understand that is not a fact, it's only their opinion.

Had I taken more Poli-Sci classes, I just would have flirted with a girl in the class to get the answers to homework/tests. That's literally how I got through my last two years of college. I never did anything. Oh, and no classes on game days. That was a rule I never broke. :lol

I am going to multi-quote the shit out of this post.!

Nope. It's a dude.

On another note...

Where's Joe? I have the best picture from Deer Creek up on my MySpace. :thumbsup

I was wondering where he has been.

I want to see the picture.

Fuck yo couch.!

Serisously, where is Joe? :(

I gotta log off for a bit. Office 2007 is installing. :D

I don't know...I haven't seen him around in a while. :thumbsdow

Thank you for the concern. Let's see, my work has now blocked Ants, and essentially every other website that is worth wasting valuable work hours. Also, for the last two days, the internet had a local "outage" in my area.

Rachel, head to the last post in this thread. Heater posted the pic of Joe.

Backstory...All weekend everyone at that campsite referred to me as "Gay Roger", thanks to Heater. Anyway, note who is NOT in that homo-erotic picture. :lol

Edit: http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?t=232709&page=140

The funniest thing about that picture is the fact that I wasn't asleep for very long. I was texting on my phone and was very tired. I was out for 30 minutes max before I awoke and went to my tent.

Also, those are actual penises (actual size), not fingers. It's sad really, when you think about it.

Glad I can hold my liquor.!

How many appletinis did you have that night?

Wow. :lol:lol

Honestly, I'm very surprised by how tame the photo is, considering there were a number of drunk, probably-gay men standing around one passed out, blatantly-straight man.

Nope, just Joe.

It's funny, because if you look closely, you can see how obvious it is that Roger photoshopped himself out of the picture. I believe he was kneeling. Possibly sucking a "finger".

um....why you stealing my shit? fuck yo couch!

For the record, it's MY shit. But if we're being technical, it belongs to Dave Chappelle.

I used to have this via Dish Network. It was great to throw on while cleaning and what not.

I have Dish Network and I have the Sirius channels, too. I love it! It's perfect to just put on and do shit around the house or play with Bear.

I also just realized that I get the Jam Band station (they play some live DMB) and the BBC station. Pretty sweet. :thumbsup

I also love Jam Band. However I love Lithium, the Early Rock station, and the 80s station.

Obviously you did not take the time to read my multi-quote masterpiece, which is disappointing. Work has essentially blocked every decent website, rendering me unable to post during the day. Also, there was a local internet outage in my area. However, the internet at home is now fixed.

That sucks that work blocked everything. My old employer was like that. :thumbsdow

My favorites are Alt Nation, Lithium, and Coffeehouse. I have a bunch of others programmed...The Verge, XMU, The Spectrum, 1st Wave, etc.
