Requesting 1 ticket vs. 4 tickets

Certain this has been asked, and I should be using the search function, but I thought I'd throw this out there since we are at the start of the ticket requesting season.

Will you have better luck being confirmed of Warehouse tickets if you request a smaller amount?? Would I have a better chance of getting better tickets by requesting 1 ticket vs. 4??

OR, say, if they pull my Warehouse account, they give me whatever amount I requested, so long as they have that many tickets remaining?

I'm tempted to request a single ticket to a high demand show in hopes of getting a better ticket, but don't know if my tactic would pay off at all.

Word going around is it doesn't matter how many you request unless you are the absolute last person getting tickets. If you request four and there is only one left. You get denied.

Also, is it true that for a two night set, one night is Seniority Warehouse and another is Random?

I always thought the first night was seniority and second was random. I'm not sure if this is still the case though. The Warehouse states in the FAQ that they can do whatever system they want for any night without telling anyone.

here's a question about 1 ticket. im a 3rd year member of the WH, if i request 1 ticket to IZOD would i actually get close to the stage or would i still be in the back of the arena? i know people get good seats like that, but am i too new of a member for that to work for me?

They just give them out in order. It doesn't matter how many you request. If they pick your name out first and you request 4 you get the closest 4.
