So, I don't know where I've been lately. Under a rock apparently, as I only just heard the news about Roi this past week. Well, I do know where I've been, stuck in my own head and doing my own thing.
Anyway, I was meaning all summer last year to get these done, and possibly posted, and ended up procrastinating and gettin' all caught up in life. And somewhere in there I stopped paying attention to any of the new shows after about August 9th. And as happens quite regularly with me, I receded into my own little Dave world paying no heed to anything new-Dave. Content to sit and listen to my own library of Dave whilst I wait for a new year with a new album and a new tour to get me all excited again.
Well, hearing the news about Roi sobered me up and gave me a kick in the arse, I immediately grabbed a tape of the 08/19/08 show and haven't stopped listening to it since (you can hear their anguish in the music, painful yet beautiful). Anyway, as I've been listening I decided to go back and finish what I started last June, with the addition of a new cover for both the June 28th and August 19th shows. Seeing as I was quite happy with the set I thought I'd share it here for any other late stragelers like myself, or anyone who has a mismatched set of covers/no covers/missing covers/etc.
I've only done the covers for the 10 or so shows that I have, and only fronts at that. I used to do front/back/inside, but seeing as I don't burn discs anymore, except as dvd backups, it seemed pointless this time around. These are intended as album art for your iTunes library (or other digital audio file system), though if you're looking for printable files let me know as I do have larger ones that should print up nicely if you still want them as front cd covers.
If you'd like covers for other shows from the tour, let me know (here or by pm). Or alternatively if you like what you see, feel free to make the neccesary adjustments (font/color) to these files to suit your own needs.
