Just uploaded another video, this time Drive In Drive Out. I had audio synced perfectly on my computer but of course it screwed up when I uploaded it to YouTube. It's not awful, but it's a split-second off.

The audio quality itself is actually pretty solid. My playing..meh. There are definitely some flubs. And I didn't play note for note with Carter so sometimes things sound a little strange with both him and me playing different things at the same time.

But anyway, here you go:

I think I have one more video, SMTS, on my hard drive at the moment that is yet to be synced/uploaded.

nice man, honestly i was to distracted from the sync being off so a few times i had to look away, but over all that was well done.

I liked that cymbal lick you did in the last chorus.

I'll try to fix the sync problem as soon as I can. It drives me nuts.

Not bad! I wish you would have played along to a D+T version though...distracting to hear both you and the man himself playing simultaneously :lol

If I played drums (and I wish I could) I would be wearing D&T stuff out. I think it would allow for improvisation for drummers.

Great stuff again BTW.

the problem with alot of Dave and Tim stuff is that its not always in perfect time so it would be almost impossible to play drums to and keep perfect time

Right, but a good chunk of it, however, is in perfect time. You should find a recording with both Dave and Carter's levels turned up pretty high; they are in perfect sync all the time. Dave can definitely hold the rhythm down very well.

Thats not what im talking about. Of course Dave can keep time when Carters playing. I wasn't saying Dave playings out of time with his band im saying that when you have just plain acoustic music (no drums, no band) its easy to fall of perfect time.

I have a bunch of recordings of me playing to D+T stuff, no vids though. I posted a version of The Stone a couple months ago I think. I'll try to record some more this weekend using some D+T stuff.

I'll also try to get it to sync better.
