Dave makes some outstanding covers, but so do many other musicians. What are some of your fav. covers....

I love Rufus Wainwright's and Jeff Buckley's covers of Hallelujah. Simple Man cover by shinedown is a good listen, I put a spell on you by CCR is as well. Watchtower by dave and jimi are outstanding. Crossroads is always a great cover song...cream, even John Mayer have given it justice

I think my favorite might be Joe Cockers woodstock cover of With a little help from my friends...

Buckley's version of Hallelujah, to me, is THE version of Hallelujah. Same with Hendrix covering Watchtower.

Pearl Jam - Rockin' in the Free World and Fortunate Son are pretty sweet.

Joe Cocker-With a Little Help From My Friends. Probably the only person who will ever make a Beatles song better than the original.

JB's Hallelujah, of course, but not so much Rufus' version like someone said. Rufus' covers of Everybody Knows and Chelsea Hotel No. 2 are fucking fantastic though. He really needs to do an all Cohen cover disc.

every kid rock song on the radio, lol. how many covers has he called his own now? there's 2 wrapped up in that new one he has. there's "sad but true" guitar riff one and maybe one or two more.
