The Luther College books are incredible. Being able to play Tim's #41 solo makes me look pro:)

Wow, this is nice. Thanks! I'm taking a critical approach to my songwriting this summer which includes looking at some of my favorite songs and analyzing them. Having the chords and vocal melody lines to all of these is going to be very helpful. Thanks again!

Well, DMBTabs has a leg up on these books because the tabs are more accurate, however the books are tab and notation so you get the rhythm and timing as well.
I wish Jared would start to update the site again, or at least pass it on to a successor since I know he is extremely busy nowadays,

Agreed, that site is just amazing. I literally learned how to play guitar from that site. :thumbsup All the new tabs are available on the boards there, but still...
EDIT:: thanks for posting these OP! :D

When dmbtabs.com started, I was there at the beginning. This is when Jared was still active on the site. Everyone was smart, nice, and talented.
Then new members started to arrive. Immature, annoying, insulting new people. It drove the old ones off the boards. I stuck around, and eventually it was me vs them. There were big fights with me bitching at them for calling people fags, and the treatment of "newbs". Eventually, I was the bottom end of all the jokes there. I gave up and left. Jared spends no time on the boards there anymore (I wonder why).

And Jared took over the site from somebody else because he didn't like how it wasn't ever updated. Now he's fallen to the same problem that the previous webmaster did.
I realize there are tabs in the boards, but there's no reason why they couldn't be posted in a more accessible place, like on the front page, with the rest of the tabs up through Some Devil. The main page hasn't been updated since 2004 (Crazy Easy, Joy Ride, Hello Again)

It's because they are user tabs. When Jared did the 2.0 version of the site (the current), he started to add user submitted tabs (like Monkey Man, which is missing a chord), but he stopped it quickly (why my Hold Me Down tab is not on the site). The last tab Jared put up there was a #34 tab. He is very dedicated and strict to what he puts up there.
Basically the thing that keeps him away is his work. He now is a major website designer. He barely has time to even answer instant messages, when he's on.
I know there are tabs on the boards. However, a lot of those tabs have errors, and are tabbed without videos (which is the main thing about the site that makes the tabs so great). Somebody with enough time and dedication needs to take it off of Jared's hands. I wouldn't mind taking over the site . . . if I could kick people off the boards, lol.
