guitar building help!

Working on a guitar and sanded the top to low now i need some kind of wood laminate to go on it and when i google all i get is floors, what can i use? need something very thin.

I would try to not use a laminated top. It seriously affects the sound quality of a guitar.

if you want a laminated top i would suggest going to a place like Warmoth.com and talk to them about getting you some guitar quality wood. home depot will not have it, maybe a wood workers lumbar yard. but make sure you use a guitar quality hard wood.

but, if you get another top you are going to have to rout it, might as well just rout the body deeper to offset what you shaved off the top. if this is your first guitar you are building consider it a lesson learned.
