Recently I recorded a couple DMB covers and I figured who better to get opinions from than DMB fans? Let me know what you think...

I'd like to know what you think. I mean hopefully no one is just a dick, but i expect/want criticism where it's needed.

Not bad playing and not bad singing, but the interpretations are not really my preference. Dreaming Tree is in the wrong time signature (and it's hard to hear it in a standard 4/4 time signature), and the modulation into the chorus sounds kinda odd... The vocals on Crash are way, way too loud, but the playing sounds overall correct. Not bad, you're not unlistenable by any means, but you could use a bit of cleaning up around the edges. Some of your longer notes fall flat. Keep it up, don't let anyone here dissuade you from playing, and just keep practicing. Good luck!

playing is ok but the vocals just arent my cup of tea. like above you're often flat and not the greatest I've heard. I enjoyeed listening to your covers!

then i agree with everything that has been said, and i think you could use a little more guitar practice on those songs. they didnt sound crisp. although that could be because the vocals overwhelm.

If comments are indeed welcome I will say that when you don't play the song in the right time signature and it isn't mentioned as being on purposed I'd say it's not a good cover.

EDIT: some chords are wrong and the little intro riff isn't right. But hey keep on keeping on, it'll get better in time
