Maybe a Yamaha or a Jasmine by takamine (the S-34c). You might want to look for one with someone that plays. You don't want to get one that is too cheap because they most likely are no good. So my advice, go shopping with an experienced player.

Jasmine is good... its only $100 or so too. Not a big investment if you decide you don't like it. That's what I started with.

I started with a Yamaha Classical Guitar...I got it for just over $100 and it was really good to learn on. It sucked for the first month cuz the neck is so much bigger than a standard acoustic, but I just bought an Alvarez Acoustic Electric, and my life is so much easier with the smaller neck. I have found that, because of the Classical Guitar, I can stretch better than people I know that have been playing for years.

I'm looking to sell my Ibanez AEF-18. It's a concert sized acoustic/electric, thinner body, archback, real slim neck and easy to play. It came with a Fishman Matrix pickup and preamp. It sounds good unplugged and even better plugged into a good acoustic amp or PA. If you're interested email me and I'll send pictures and info. $225 + S&H.
