Hello all!
In lieu of Vincents (InBetweenLines) post, I've decided to throw my own (beginnning of a) song on here. My lyrics aren't as good (I feel they're too narrative aswell), but I've started writing some guitar parts for it. Since I'm rather green in the field of writing (and playing!), I'd be more than happy if anyone wants to add/alter any music or lyrics.
The idea behind the lyrics came from the untimely death of Michael Jackson. I basically try to explore ones thoughts in the last few seconds before death, especially in terms having lived fully. In that sense, it is your run of the mill capre diem lyric, but with focus on having made a bigger name for yourself. If you have any questions as that what specific lines/metaphors mean, please don't be afraid to ask here or in PM.
It isn't really composed yet, as I've only written one verse and two choruses, but I hope we can improve on all this together!
