I've seen a lot of tabs for it with a Capo on 10 or Drop D with Capo on 3 and whatever else you can think of, but I never found one for Standard Tuning.

I've never made tabs on here before, but I thought that I would lay out how I play Squirm b/c I haven't seen a tab on here for Standard Tuning.

Intro & Verses
----------------------------------------------- | -------------------
----------------------------------------------- | -------------------
-----10--9--9--8--8--7--7--6--6--5--5-------- | --- 8----10--------
-----------------------------------------8----- | ---8----10---------
--8--8---7--7--6--6--5--5--4--4--3--3-------- | --- 6----8---------
-----------------------------------------6----- | ---6----8----------

"Why Should I Feel Intrusion..."
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
---10------------8-------------------------
---10------------8-------------------------
---8-------------6-------------------------
---8-------------6-------------------------

Chorus
--------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------
---8-------8--10--------------------------------------7------
---8---8---8--10-----------------6-----6--8--6--8--6----8---
---6---8---6---8-----------6--8-----8------------------------
-------6---6---8---------------------------------------------

Middle Jam
-----------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------
---8---6---5---10--------------------------------7--------
---8---6---5---10-----------6-----6--8--6--8--6----8-----
---6---4---3----8-----6--8-----8--------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------

Outro is the same as the "Why Should I Feel Intrusion" part.

Hope the tab was half way decent. :D

Not bad at all. I do prefer to use my Capo and Drop D tab, but for a non-capo'ed one this is good.

I did edit it (cut out some dashes) and used the "code" option so it looks better:

The "code" option does make it look way better. Thanks for notifying me about that and doing it for me. :D

I think that the Capo 10 thing that people do is dumb because it is nearly impossible to play with a capo that high on the neck.
I like the Capo & Drop D tab just like you do, but I prefer to not use my capo whenever I can, so I thought that I would sound it out on Standard Tuning.

Squirm - Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds

Dave's part tabbed from Live in Las Vegas YouTube video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSc5bkcYVPY
D tuning - D-G-C-F-A-D (every string down one full step)

Entire song, the strumming frequency is fast and strings are usually only hit on the down strokes.

I play it that way. Sounds right to me. Otherwise, good tab. I use standard tuning w/ capo on 7th with pretty much your chords. It's easier to sing than the original key ;-) And I never play the chord extensions in brackets. I'm pretty sure Dave doesn't play them. Too many strings at the same time :lol
